Throughout DreamWorks' vast film library, there are many bullies who make an appearance in many of their films. While the protagonists are the best-remembered characters in the films, viewers can't forget the bullies who tried to bring them down either in the beginning or throughout the entire film.

These bullies don't have anything better to do than ridicule the protagonist or minor characters. Bullies don't have to come in the form of humans, they can even be sea creatures or lions. Although, all share one commonality: their atrocious behavior towards others.

10 Mrs. Tweedy Runs Her Chicken Farm With An Iron Fist

Mrs. Tweedy is the malicious owner of a chicken farm, along with her husband, in the 2000 film Chicken Run. She resorts to killing chickens if they are incapable of laying any more eggs. She is a lanky individual who often wields an ax to threaten the chickens.

She doesn't just bully the chickens at the farm, but also her husband, who she consistently belittles when he tries to stand up for himself.

9 Shelby Dislikes Animals In Over The Hedge

Shelby is a girl scout and minor antagonist in the 2006 film Over the Hedge. Shelby prefers to watch TV and eat cookies over selling the girl scout cookies door to door. She iconically smacks Hammy the squirrel with a book and sprays him with pepper spray instead of just running away from him.

She shows respect to the Verminator when he comes to exterminate the neighborhood and thinks very lowly of animals.

8 Ms. Grunion Ignores When People Bully Sherman

Ms. Edwina Grunion is the main antagonist in the 2014 film Mr. Peabody & Sherman. She is a vicious social worker known by the nickname "The Grunion." She tries to take Sherman away from Mr. Peabody, and even makes a false report to the police to accomplish this.

She exhibits bully-like behaviors by ignoring the instances when Penny humiliates Sherman because she wants to be better than everyone else. Ironically, Allison Janney voices Ms. Grunion, who also voices Gladys Sharp, the antagonist in Over the Hedge. 

7 Ken Tries To Kill Barry In Bee Movie

One of the most unbelievable plots in animated film history exists in the 2007 film Bee Movie. Jerry Seinfeld voices Barry B. Benson, a bee who falls in love with a human named Vanessa. Vanessa is in a relationship with Ken before he gets jealous of Barry and Vanessa's budding romance.

Ken envies Barry and has hatred towards him because of his allergy to bees and dislike of honey. Ken even tries to kill Barry by flushing him down a toilet, but this only causes Vanessa to break up with him.

6 Lord Farquaad Employs Shrek To Rescue Fiona

This iconic short-tempered character is first introduced in the first installment of the Shrek film series. Lord Farquaad is Duloc's tyrannical ruler, who wishes to rid his kingdom of fairy tale creatures. He must marry Princess Fiona to become king because he lacks royal blood. However, he's too lazy to rescue her himself so he employs Shrek to do so.

Lord Farquaad sentences Shrek to death and rejects Fiona once she learns of her ogre form. He meets his end when the dragon eats him and the crowd cheers.

5 Little Boy Blue Bullies Puss In Boots

Puss in Boots makes his first appearance in the second installment of the Shrek film series, but receives his own spin-off film, Puss in Boots, in 2011. The film tells of the Spanish-speaking cat's backstory in the San Ricardo orphanage, along with other nursery rhyme characters like Humpty Dumpty and Little Boy Blue.

Little Boy Blue is a blue-skinned child who consistently bullies Puss in Boots and other children at the orphanage. Humpty Dumpty tricks Puss and says he owes Little Boy Blue money, but actually robs a bank.

4 Snotlout Jorgensen Gets His Bad Behavior From His Dad

Jonah Hill voices Snotlout Jorgensen in the How To Train Your Dragon film franchise. Snotlout considers himself better than everyone else, and like Hiccup, has a crush on Astrid for a while. He is obsessed with popularity and incapable of admitting when he messes up.

It becomes evident to viewers where Snotlout inherits this behavior, as his father, Spitelout, is remarkably similar. Snotlout initially acts like a bully towards Hiccup when he shoves him around, and towards Fishlegs when he ridicules his knowledge of dragons.

3 Ernie & Bernie, from Shark Tale, Eventually Join The Good Side

Ernie and Bernie are the jellyfish duo in the 2004 film Shark Tale. Shark Tale is loosely based on the events of The Godfather, and this becomes evident to viewers by the stereotypes, the plotline, and the voice actors present in the film.

Ernie and Bernie initially are the henchman for Sykes the Pufferfish, who is involved in the gangster business with crime boss Don Lino, whom Robert de Niro voices. They change their bullying ways and ditch Sykes to join the good side with Oscar.

2 Guy Gagné Plays Dirty in The Race With Turbo

Sometimes one's hero can be the exact opposite of what they hoped they would be like. This happens in the 2013 film Turbo, which is one of DreamWorks' less-enjoyed films. The film follows a garden snail named Turbo in San Fernando Valley, who hopes to become a famed racer one day.

1 Makunga Manipulates Alex Into Fighting The Strongest Lion

Alec Baldwin voices Makunga, the main antagonist in the 2008 film Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. Makunga is Zuba's ultimate enemy, who tricks Alex into fighting a skilled lion named Teetsi, knowing that Alex wouldn't be able to take him on. Alex believes the rite of passage is a talent show, but realizes it is actually a duel.

Makunga is manipulative and thinks highly of himself. Makunga gets promoted to alpha lion, but Zuba eventually replaces him at the end of the film due to his maniacal ways.
