Dreamhaven books to release Neil Gaiman audio CD at CCI

[Neil Gaiman]July 11, 2003: Minneapolis, Minnesota --DreamHaven Books will release their new Neil Gaiman audio CD: TELLING TALES at the Comic-Con International, July 17-20th. Like their previous bestselling CD, WARNING: CONTAINS LANGUAGE, TELLING TALES features Neil reading a number of his stories, including "A Writer's Prayer," "Harlequin Valentine," "Boys & Girls Together," "The Wedding Present," and "The End." Percussion between the tracks is provided by Robin Adnan Anders.

The CD will be on sale at DreamHaven's www.neilgaiman.net booth: #1035. This will be the first time the official Neil Gaiman Online Store will be exhibiting at Comic-con International. In addition to TELLING TALES, copies of WARNING: CONTAINS LANGUAGE and various signed Neil Gaiman collectibles will be available.

TELLING TALES' Cover Artist John Picacio will be appearing at the booth to sign copies during the course of the convention. Attendees should check at Booth #1035 for a schedule of his appearances.


The house press for DreamHaven Books bookstores in Minneapolis has been publishing fine fantasy since 1991, when it first released Neil Gaiman's and Stephen Jones' collection of Nasty Verse: NOW WE ARE SICK. Since then, the press has gone on to publish highly acclaimed short story collections by Neil Gaiman, Jack Cady, Dennis Etchison, Martha Soukup, plus chapbooks by Gaiman and John Crowley, and the audio CD: WARNING: CONTAINS LANGUAGE. The store recently celebrated its 25th aniversary, and the press issued SHELF LIFE: FANTASTIC STORIES CELEBRATING BOOKSTORES edited by store owner, Greg Ketter.
