Drake & Josh star Jared Drake Bell (aka Drake Bell or Drake Campana) was sentenced to two years' probation for attempted child endangering and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.

In addition to probation, Bell must serve 200 hours of community service in the state of California.

Bell was charged in early June in relation to an unspecified incident in 2017 that involved a then-15-year-old girl in Ohio that was said to be sexual in nature at times. He was arrested in Cuyahoga County, OH, and subsequently released on $2,500 personal bond. Later that month, he pleaded guilty to one count of attempted child endangering and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.

On June 29, six days after he entered his guilty plea, Bell tweeted (translated from Spanish), "In response to various rumors that are incorrect, I have been married for almost 3 years, and we are blessed to be the parents of a wonderful son. Thank you very much to all my fans around the world for your good wishes." This appeared to be in relation to a story noting that Bell was spotted at Disneyland with a  woman and a baby after his last court date.

Bell began acting at the age of 5 and appeared in episodes of Home Improvement and Seinfeld, as well as 1996's Jerry Maguire. In 1999, he became a regular on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series The Amanda Show, where he would also showcase his guitar skills. Shortly after The Amanda Show was canceled, Bell and co-star Josh Peck teamed up for the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh, which ran from 2004-2007.

Outside of music and Drake & Josh, Bell's most notable work is playing the voice of Peter Parker/Spider-Man on Disney XD's Ultimate Spider-Man from 2012-2017.
