While The Dragon Prince Season 4 is still in development, fans can get a chance to read a canonical story set after the events of Season 3 with the franchise's first original graphic novel The Dragon Prince: Through the Moon.

From a story crafted by franchise creators Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond, the graphic novel is written by Peter Wartman and illustrated by Xanthe Bouma. In an exclusive preview provided by Wonderstorm, protagonists Callum and Rayla are seen reflecting on recent tumultuous events in a rare, quiet moment.

The graphic novel comes as part of the Netflix original animated series' expansion into publishing, with a prose novel adapting and expanding upon the first season published this past June.

As part of the series' virtual presentation at Comic-Con@Home this past July, Ehasz and Richmond announced that the show had been renewed for an additional four seasons to complete their epic fantasy story as planned. No premiere date for Season 4 has currently been announced by Netflix.

Written by Peter Wartman and illustrated by Xanthe Bouma from a story by Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond, The Dragon Prince: Through the Moon goes on sale Oct. 6 from Scholastic and Wonderstorm.
