Convincing victories can be hard to come by in Dragon Ball. Goku takes so many wins that the rest of the cast are left looking relatively weak. Even the films don't allow the Z Fighters to get much shine, with  often losing to the villains' lackeys so Goku (or occasionally Gohan) can save the day.

Gohan, Saonel, Pirina Fighting in Dragon ball

Piccolo unfortunately doesn’t have a lot of victories. He’s had impressive fights, like his time against Frieza and Android 17, but something always stops him from winning. When the Tournament of Power happens, every member manages to obtain  multiple victories. Piccolo faces off against Saonel and Pirina, the two Namekians from Universe 6, who absorbed their entire planet to have the strength to compete. Working alongside Gohan, Piccolo is not only able to fight on the same level as these two, but defeat them as well.

Entry 9 - Tien Beats Mercenary Tao

Taopaipai doesn’t just lose, he can’t even touch Tenshinhan for most of the fight. Tenshinhan even stops one of Tao’s energy blasts with nothing more than a kiai yell.

5 Android 17 Wins The Tournament Of Power

Android 17 during the Tournament of Power

Android 17 spent all of the Tournament of Power being the MVP. To be honest, no moment will top him effectively saving all of existence by wishing for the remaining universes to be revived. Helping Goku and Frieza during the final battle against Jiren, Android 17 is the whole reason the multiverse was saved in the end. By pulling off his fakeout self-destruction, 17 was able to show up in the last minute for the final push against Jiren, ending up the only fighter left in the arena when all was said and done.

Android 18’s best moment is one of Vegeta’s worst. After showing off his ability to transform into a Super Saiyan, Vegeta quickly used this power to dispatch with Android 19. Vegeta tried to fight 18 the same way he had Android 19, but she was much stronger than expected. Not just that, 18's infinite stamina meant that the battle was ultimately a waiting game. It wasn't a matter of if 18 would defeat Vegeta, but when. She ended Vegeta’s hopes at beating her with a single kick, depowering him on the spot.

2 Goku Pays Frieza Back For Everything He's Done To The Universe

Goku-vs-Frieza

It might be weird to put Goku’s best victory in the middle of DBZ, but he didn't beat Cell during the Cell Saga and he only beat Buu through a series of complex shenanigans. After Frieza kills Krillin, Goku finally transforms into a Super Saiyan, bringing out his full potential. From there, it’s his goal to humble Frieza, beating him at every turn until Frieza is left begging for Goku’s help just to escape the planet by the end. While Frieza tries to turn that help against Goku, it’s all to no avail. Frieza is left alone on Planet Namek as it explodes.
