Not only does this transformation boost the basic attack and combos, but it allows players to take down opponents much faster.
The Super Saiyan God transformation may be a Saiyan-exclusive Awoken Skill, but it can be acquired by any race the player character has chosen to play. Before the player can get their hands on this skill, however, they will need to do some grinding in order to reach the Eternal Dragon. What Is Super Saiyan God Form?
The SSGF in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is an Awoken Skill. Awoken Skills are designed to empower the player character's attacks. In order to use these Awoken Skills, the player must have a certain amount of Ki in reserve to initiate the transformation. SSGF requires 300 Ki and provides a significant power boost to normal combat attacks.
Choose the 'I Want to Become a Super Saiyan God' Wish
Players must collect all seven Dragon Balls and use them to summon Shenron, the eternal dragon who grants wishes. Shenron will present the player with a number of wishes to select from. The last wish, "I want to become a Super Saiyan God," is the one to choose. A system message will then let them know that they will need to max out their friendship with Goku, Vegeta, Gohan & Videl, Gotenks and Pan before they can obtain the SSGF skill.
How to Max Out Friendships In Xenoverse 2
The most efficient way to work on the friendship percentage is to go to Infinite History, which is located in the Time Nest. Once there, the player should replay one of the Extra Story quests, "The Hero Tapion Awakens." This quest, in particular, will help the player speed up the process of maxing out the required friendships.
The player may have to replay said quest multiple times, but make sure to select whose friendship you want to raise each time you play it. For instance, if the player wants to increase their friendship with Goku, they will need to have him set as their mentor, and they will also have to choose him as a partner before embarking on the quest. On average, it takes about six runs to max out a single friendship if the initial percentage was at 0.
Where to Find the God of Destruction
Once the player has maxed out all friendships with the designated instructors, they should make their way to Orange Star High School. Here they will find the God of Destruction, Beerus. After talking to Beerus, the player will obtain the Super Saiyan God skill. Although the process of acquiring this transformation is not straightforward, it mirrors the nature of Dragon Ball Xenoverse, which some may refer to as a "grindfest." Nevertheless, fans of the franchise will likely agree that the Super Saiyan God form is worth both the trouble and the wait.
Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan
Super Saiyan God form is definitely a game changer, but why stop there? The next step-up on the power rung is Super Saiyan God Super Sayan, given by Master Whiz at level 90 to players who max out his friendship. After that Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (evolved) becomes available at Level 95, also given by Master Whiz, to characters who have maxed out their friendship with Vegeta and already awakened the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan skill. Both of this Awakened skills require 500 Ki.
