Through the sheer power of being the second most popular character in the Dragon Ball franchise, Vegeta has some of the series most iconic attacks at his disposal. Since his fight with Goku, Vegeta has endured the most brutal training conditions, foughten some of the strongest warriors in the cosmos, and has helped saved his universe countless times. To do any of that, Vegeta has had to learn numerous techniques to defend his family, as well as keeping his strength from getting any lower so he can take on Kakarot. So, we looked back on some of Vegeta's best techniques and picked Vegeta's ten strongest moves. Be they transformations or energy blasts; we'll be counting them all.

10 Lucora Gun

One of Vegeta's more useful attacks, the Lucora gun is pretty much him launching a barrage of energy balls at a fast rate. While not one of Vegeta's more unique techniques, it is one of his favorite finishing moves, according to Goku. The attack would be later copied by Majin Buu when he fought against Super Saiyan 3 Goku.

9 Dirty Fireworks

After a Saibaman fails to be a match for Tien, Vegeta uses his middle and index fingers and destroys the alien creature in an instant. Somehow, by aiming his two fingers at a target, Vegeta can summon enough energy to cause an explosion from the inside of a person. Despite being a pretty brutal attack, Vegeta only uses this attack once more when he fights and kills Cui on Namek. After Vegeta turns to the side of good, he never again uses this deadly attack.

8 Great Ape Transformation

Great Ape Vegeta terrorizes Goku in Dragon Ball Z

Like other Saiyans, Vegeta could transform into a Great Ape. By using the energy of the full moon, a Saiyan can turn into a giant monkey and wrecks havoc around anything in the nearby vicinity. Unlike Goku and Gohan, Vegeta can remain conscious while in the transformation. This is because children do not know how to harness the power of the Great Ape like an adult can. As an Ape, Vegeta's power and strength are significantly increased and can shoot a massive energy beam from his mouth.  After his tail is cut off by Yajarobi, Vegeta never again uses the transformation(unless you count GT, when Bulma blast Vegeta and Baby with a Blusts Wave Amplifier).

7 Atomic Blast/Final Impact

When Vegeta allows Babidi to control his mind, Vegeta becomes Majin and turns into a villain once again. When Vegeta demands a rematch with Goku, our hero refuses only for Vegeta to blast him. By channeling energy to his fingertips, Vegeta can launch this powerful energy attack. While Goku tries to endure the attack, he's sadly pushed away by the attack as it kills several innocent people. If that's not bad enough, the blast is later shown to blast through Majin Buu. Since then, Vegeta has not used this ability, though it is still featured in the video games where Majin Vegeta is a playable character.

6 Final Shine Attack

When Super Android 17 keeps brushing off all of the Z-Fighters attacks, Vegeta unleashes this new technique out of nowhere. Only requiring one hand to use, Vegeta launches this powerful green energy beam on Super 17. While the attack isn't successful, it did leave many fans hoping that he would use this massive attack in the future. Luckily, he was able to use it when teaming up with Goku against Omega Shenron. It may not be canon, but we hope that in the next Dragon Ball series, Vegeta could launch this attack in the mainline series.

5 Big Bang Attack

Anime Vegeta Big Bang Attack Cropped

When Vegeta ripped the hands off of 19, he decides to give the android a piece of his own medicine by using this powerful attack on him. Because 19 can't absorb without them, the powerful energy ball proves to be fatal. While Vegeta hasn't used this attack as much as hisa other techniques, it's still become a reliable attack to use and has been one of his default attacks in a number of the video games over the past few years.

4 Super Saiyan transformation

After Goku and Trunks were able to achieve this transformation, Vegeta did everything he could to become a Super Saiyan. After Surviving a meteor strike, Vegeta's anger allows him to transform finally. Like other fellow Super Saiyans, Vegeta's strength is increased tenfold when using this form. After a crushing defeat from 18, Vegeta and Trunks train to push themselves further, and Vegeta becomes Super Vegeta. As he trains, he's able to perfect Super Saiyan and even has become a Super Saiyan 2. Despite not being able to transform into a Super Saiyan 3 like Goku, Vegeta has learned to achieve both Super Saiyan God and Blue. He's even been able to push his SSB form beyond what Goku could do.

3 Galick Gun

Vegeta using his Galick Gun attack in Dragon Ball.

While it isn't Vegeta's most potent attack, it is one of his signature attacks. When Goku managed to land a few mighty blows on Vegeta, The Prince of all Saiyans has had enough of the "lower-class trash" and decides to destroy him and planet Earth. Vegeta charges up his energy and launches this purple energy beam at Goku. Despite it being one of Vegeta's most iconic attacks, He didn't use it throughout DBZ. It wasn't until Dragon Ball Super, where Vegeta started using this attack more prominently.

2 Final Flash

Vegeta powers up his Final Flash in Dragon Ball Z

Vegeta's most powerful energy blast was first unleashed when he faced off against Cell in his perfect form. By charging up a large amount of his energy, Vegeta can launch a powerful energy blast that's as big as 1/8 of the entire planet. While the attack didn't work out when he first used it on Cell, it's had a much larger success rate over the years. It was able to attack Goku during his rematch, and he was able to get Magetta near the edge of Ring during the Tournament of Destroyers.

1 Final Explosion

When Vegeta has no other option left in his arsenal, he'll use this nearly suicidal technique. By summoning a great deal of energy, Vegeta can create a gigantic explosion of power that will take everyone in a hundred-mile radius with a one way trip to other world. When Vegeta first used this attack, he tried to destroy Majin Buu. However, not only did the technique cost him his life, but it proved to be in vain, as Majin Buu regenerated from the attack. However, Vegeta was able to survive his second attempt with this technique when he used it to fight Top. It didn't kill either of them, as Vegeta did survive and managed to eliminate Top. The downside was that it caused Vegeta to take a lot of damage and energy.
