When one talks about some of the most iconic attacks in Dragon Ball history, there are several names that come to one's mind. The Kamehameha is obviously at the tip of everyone's tongue in this regard, but let's not forget some of the other attacks as well. The Spirit Bomb, Special Beam Cannon, Masenko, Final Flash, Solar Flare, Destructo Disc, and Tri-Beam are just some of the many moves that have become a legendary aspect of the Dragon Ball canon.

One such attack that was introduced by none other than the Prince Of All Saiyans is the Galick Gun. This purple beam has become a classic component of Dragon Ball, contributing to some of the most iconic moments in the series. Here are 10 of the most epic Galick Guns ever fired in the history of Dragon Ball.

10 Eliminating Two Fighters At The Same Time In The Tournament Of Power

The Tournament Of Power is easily one of the best arcs in Dragon Ball Super, with pretty much every fighter getting their moment to shine.

Vegeta was no exception, with the highlight of his appearance clearly being the attainment of an Ascended Super Saiyan Blue form. However, his Galick Gun that eliminated both Dr. Rota and Prum also deserves a mention in its own right.

9 An Emphatic Galick Gun Against Frieza

Anime Vegeta VS Frieza

While Vegeta's fight against Frieza was somewhat saddening to watch — what with the Prince Of All Saiyans desperate to push forth the narrative that he's a Super Saiyan — it certainly did have its highlights.

Perhaps the best one out of the lot was Vegeta charging up one of the most visually spectacular Galick Guns in the entire series, somewhat akin to its more advanced form — the Final Burst Cannon. Sure, it didn't do anything, but at least it looked cool if nothing else.

8 Perhaps The Angriest Galick Gun Attack Ever Against Beerus

Watching Vegeta transform from proud, vengeful Saiyan into a bonafide family was actually excellent to watch, with the beloved Prince going through some excellent character development over the course of Dragon Ball. So, after watching his beloved Bulma getting slapped by Beerus, Vegeta simply couldn't hold back his power and transformed into an ultra-powerful Super Saiyan 2 that managed to land a punch on Beerus.

This was followed by a fully-powered Galick Gun that managed to catch the God Of Destruction off-guard.

7 A Blue-Colored Galick Gun

Dragon Ball GT took some liberties — some more welcome than others — when it came to the various established facets of the Dragon Ball canon. One of the less egregious changes happened with the color of certain attacks, with Goku's red Kamehameha perhaps being the notable one in this regard.

However, one can't forget another palette change when it comes to another signature attack — namely, the Super Galick Gun used by Golden Great Ape Baby. This attack is blue in color, making it a refreshing change of pace from the usual purple hue.

6 A Beam Clash Between Saiyans From Different Universes

The fight between Cabba and Vegeta during the Universe 6 Saga is one of the most memorable encounters in the arc, allowing us to witness a unique mentor-student dynamic between the two Saiyans. This fight is notable for Vegeta teaching Cabba how to become a Super Saiyan, but there's another moment in this fight that most fans tend to gloss over.

Namely, there's a cool clash of Galick Guns between Vegeta and Cabba, which further strengthens the narrative of Vegeta mentoring Cabba.

5 Majin Vegeta's Advanced Galick Gun

Majin Vegeta tortures Goku in Dragon Ball Z

This might be considered as cheating since the Final Burst Cannon is technically its very own move. However, it's established to be an advanced version of the Galick Gun, so in a way, it does count.

During his fight with Goku, Majin Vegeta decides to fire off a Final Burst Cannon that — contrary to its previous appearance against Frieza — is yellow in color. It's a powerful moment in one of the most memorable fights in Dragon Ball Z.

4 Future Trunks' Super Saiyan Anger Galick Gun

Dragon Ball Super might have its fair share of detractors, but even they have to commend the series for bringing back some of the classic moves that its previous iteration had seemingly forgotten. The Kaioken and the Evil Containment Wave are two of the biggest examples in this regard, but props must definitely go out to the series for making the Galick Gun a trademark move once again.

Perhaps one of the best applications of this move was by Future Trunks in his Super Saiyan Anger form, pulling off all the stops in one final attack before powering down from this impressive transformation.

3 The Father-Son Galick Gun

Of course, this list would be woefully incomplete without the combination of Vegeta's and Future Trunks' combined Galick Gun, fired off in an attempt to counter the Holy Wrath that was unleashed by Fused Zamasu.

The Father-Son Kamehameha is one of the most iconic moments in Dragon Ball history, and it's great to see Dragon Ball Super adding its own spin to this moment with the Galick Gun.

2 A Combination Of The Kamehameha, Galick Gun, And Final Flash

Anime Goku Trunks Vegeta DBS

If the previous combination wasn't great enough as is, one of the coolest moments in the entirety of Dragon Ball has to be when Goku, Vegeta, and Future Trunks combine their attacks in an attempt to destroy the vestiges of Fused Zamasu once and for all.

The only downside of this moment is that that this incredible combination of the Kamehameha, Galick Gun and Final Flash does literally nothing to impede their foe. Goku has to resort to calling Future Zeno to end this threat once and for all, which does dampen the effect of this moment somewhat.

1 The Iconic Beam Clash Against Goku

There was no way that any other use of the Galick Gun could oust this legendary moment from its throne. The first time we ever witness the Galick Gun is during this iconic beam struggle against Goku's Kamehameha when both Saiyans decide to give it their all in this legendary clash.

The Galick Gun's power could not be countered by the base Kamehameha, and Goku needed to power up all the way to Kaioken X4 in order to finally best his opponent.
