Hercule (or Mr. Satan as he's known in the original Japanese and in later versions of the dub) is well-known for being almost an absolutely useless fighter, pretty much just resigned these days to hanging out with his best friend Majin Buu. While it might be just a little bit evil to make a list of characters that he could and couldn't beat in a fight, we couldn't help ourselves.

When presented with the idea to make a list about one of the most criminally underpowered characters in anime, there was no resisting. This is a list of 5 superheroes that Hercule could beat, and 5 he couldn't.

10 Win: Asbestos Lady

Just to start off with a particularly ludicrous character from the annals of comic book history, the first person on this list is none other than Asbestos Lady. Asbestos Lady, you may ask? Yeah. We're sorry. This is an actual thing and you know of her existence now. It's unclear exactly what happened with Asbestos Lady in the first place, but our guess is that she suffered the same fate as asbestos itself, with everyone thinking at first that it was a wonderful and safe thing to come into contact on a regular basis only to realize how awful its ramifications are. As dark as it is, Hercule wouldn't even have to fight her because she died of cancer after asbestos exposure.

9 Lose: Nite Owl

Nite Owl is a pretty well-known hero from Watchmen. He doesn't have any powers aside from his dependence on his vehicle and some of his electronic and mechanical gadgets, but other than that he's mostly just a pretty good fighter. While the equipment would help out, Hercule is actually much stronger than the average man, while still being a ton weaker than the Z Fighters. This means that as long as he gets past the weapons, he'd have no problem. However, that's pretty unlikely to happen though, as long as Nite Owl has his full arsenal.

8 Win: 3D Man

3D Man is kind of a joke of a character, or at least he feels like one. Unfortunately for him, he only has the strength of 3 average men, in addition to having senses that are three times as developed as an average man.

The issue with him trying to defeat Hercule is that the power level of an average human in the DBZ mythos is roughly five. Hercule's is assumed to be anywhere from 70-120, making the outcome of the fight a matter of simple math.

7 Lose: Daredevil

While the character from the last entry also had the power of having enhanced senses, by losing his sense of sight, Daredevil is more sensitive than even the dreaded 3D Man. Not only that, but Daredevil has pretty advanced knowledge of martial arts, which in addition to his supernatural abilities probably serves to make him even tougher than Hercule. While it could be argued that since Hercule's power level is so much higher than Daredevil's he would win, we really don't know exactly what Daredevil's power level is, so there's no way to judge that accurately.

6 Win: Kite Man

Kite Man is on this list as a bit of a joke honestly, because Kite Man himself is a bit of a joke. For those that don't know about the Silver Age of comics, it was a time after the Comics Code Authority hit when writers had to be really careful about what they put in their comics.

As a result, we got a bunch of wacky characters like Kite Man. His whole thing is basically that there are various kites he rides around on, which is pretty much a useless power, so Hercule should win.

5 Lose: The Punisher

Another hero without powers is The Punisher. While it's pretty ridiculous to imagine a situation in which The Punisher might see it fitting to go after Hercule, stranger things have happened, like when The Punisher mistook Archie for a drug dealer and chased him down once he got to Riverdale. Provided a weird situation like that, it could happen, and Hercule wouldn't have a leg to stand on considering Punisher has fought much stronger oppenents.

4 Win: Polka Dot Man

Polka Dot Man is actually a lot more interesting than he gets credit for. Another leftover from the silver age after the whole Comics Code Authority thing happened, Polka Dot Man is pretty self-explanatory, just like Kite Man was.

He wears a suit covered in polka dots, committing various polka dot-themed crimes. Not only do his polka dots not really do anything practical, but he's not particularly tough either. Hercule would have no problem with him.

3 Lose: Deathstroke

Deathstroke might not feel like the fairest opponent to put on this list or anything, but just like The Punisher, we really couldn't leave him off. The thing about him is that if the price was high enough, you can bet that Deathstroke would be after Hercule's head, and since Deathstroke has an entire arsenal of state of the art weaponry, Hercule really doesn't stand a chance.

2 Win: Blue Streak

Blue Streak really wouldn't be able to do much at all here. For those who aren't familiar with Blue Streak (which should be pretty much everyone), He's a supervillain who travels around on rocket-powered roller skates. This immediately sounds like another Silver Age character, doesn't it? Just the lack of thought and character design that went into it is incredible. Anyway, while Hercule might have some trouble initiating the fight, as soon as he's able to clothesline the Blue Streak, it's over.

1 Lose: Kick-Ass/Hit Girl

Kick-Ass is a vigilante from a series of comics and 2 films based on the comics which were written by Mark Millar. He sees crime going on in the streets and has read too many superhero comics, so he decides he's going to become one. On a one-on-one level, it's unlikely that Kick-Ass is going to be able to do much, but then we factor in the fact that Hit-Girl could show up, thereby absolutely destroying Hercule since she's much more effective.
