Fans beware: Crunchyroll's latest trailer for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is full of spoilers.

A new trailer for the recently released anime film was shared on Crunchyroll's YouTube channel and includes some of the film's most exciting developments. Notably, the trailer features Gohan and Piccolo's newest forms, battles between the Z-Fighters and their latest threats, and the reveal of the film's ultimate villain. The trailer was released in celebration of Super Hero's status as the fifth highest-growing anime film in U.S. box office history which was officially achieved after its second weekend in theaters.

The film has so far grossed a total of $30,859,433 USD at the U.S. box office. The anime feature beat out the previous record-holder, 2018's Dragon Ball Super: Broly, which held the number five spot at $30,712,119 USD. This puts it behind Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Pokémon the Movie 2000, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train and Pokémon: The First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back.

The trailer is a little more than a minute long, but it shows off the biggest reveals of the film. Both Gohan and Piccolo can be seen in new forms, with the Namekian achieving something akin to a Super Saiyan but with an orange tint and a muscled physique, while the half-Saiyan's new power is titled Gohan Beast. It is an offshoot of his Ultimate Gohan transformation that was first achieved in Dragon Ball Z's Majin Buu Saga. The film's final but largest reveal shown in this trailer is that one of Gohan's most dangerous adversaries returns in the form of Cell Max. Unlike Cell's final appearance in the Dragon Ball Z series, he is in a green and red version of their Imperfect Cell form. It is unclear if this Cell is the same one that fought the teenage Gohan in the Cell Games' climax or an entirely new entity.

Super Hero takes place shortly after the events of the film's predecessor Broly. During a seemingly peaceful time, the Red Pharmaceuticals company and its CEO, Magenta, attempt to bring the Red Ribbon Army back to power. He seeks out the grandson of Dr. Gero, the man who created the original android threat in DBZ. The grandson, Dr. Hedo, is convinced that the Z-Fighters are supervillains, and he develops androids Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 to rid the world of them.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero can be seen now in select theaters across North America.
