Dragon Ball Super, the long awaited sequel to the original Dragon Ball manga and the Dragon Ball Z anime introduces a ton of concepts to the vast world of Dragon Ball. In fact, this series introduces so much that it can be a bit overwhelming for those not acquainted with the flawed concepts of time travel in the series.

The spinoff series, Super Dragon Ball Heroes actually takes a deeper look at some of these concepts due to the freedom of being a multiversal spinoff and actually explains some things even more. This list will be looking at some of these "explanations" for Super that only make sense if you've watched Heroes.

10 MORE THAN SUPER SAIYANS CAN REACH GOD FORM

A misconception brought on by the Dragon Ball Super series is that there is only a God form present in the Saiyan race. This is driven even further by the look back at the original Super Saiyan God, which makes it seem as if the form is exclusive to the Saiyans.

However, it is shown in Super Dragon Ball Heroes that the God form is accessible to more races if given access to God Ki, as seen with the Demon Realm race and their Demon God forms.

9 THE GRAND MINISTER WILL INTERFERE IN ANY MORTAL MATTERS IF THEY CONCERN ZENO

While the Angels (double for their father, the Grand Minister) usually do not to get involved in the matters of those below them such as mortals, they do make a few exceptions. One of these exceptions concerns the strongest of Angels, the Grand Minister, and his job of protecting Zeno.

This is seen in its fullest form in Super Dragon Ball Heroes when he actually trains Goku so he may fight the Core Area Warriors who are on a mission to destroy Zeno himself.

8 THE BRANCHES OF SUPER SAIYAN ARE STILL WIDELY UNDISCOVERED

Dragon Ball Heroes makes it a point to let fans of Dragon Ball know that there are still many different forms of Super Saiyan that go down widely different branches.

Things don't end at Super Saiyan God, nor do they simply branch off to the Legendary Super Saiyan form. The multiverse shows that there is still Super Saiyan 4, Golden Great Ape, Berserker Super Saiyan, and more.

7 FUTURE TRUNKS'S JOB IS NEVER DONE

While Dragon Ball Super shows that Future Trunks finally has his happy ending and now lives in a world that was never affected by the Androids or any other threats, his job still isn't over.

This is simply one Future Trunks timeline and another that is featured in Super Dragon Ball Heroes still has the original Future Trunks past intact.

6 BEERUS IS ON NO ONE'S SIDE

Sometimes with how Beerus acts in the current times of Dragon Ball Super, it's easy to forget he's the God of Destruction.

In Dragon Ball Heroes there is actually an arc that features him taking Earth matters in his own hands and going to take on the heroes in an attempt to destroy the planet.

5 HIT STILL HASN'T SURPASSED GOKU

Hit was introduced in Dragon Ball Super as the newest rival to Goku and ever since their first stalemate fight, fans still haven't gotten a taste of any type of rematch.

However, in Heroes, it's shown that Hit probably wouldn't stand a chance against current Goku as he couldn't even get past Goku Black, whom Goku has currently surpassed.

4 SUPER SAIYAN BLUE IS GOKU'S STRONGEST SUPER SAIYAN FORM

It's still not for sure if Super Saiyan Blue is the strongest form, as depending on the character it is seen that the Legendary Super Saiyan can give it a run for its money.

However, it is definitely Goku's strongest Super Saiyan form out of every Dragon Ball series. This was shown when Super Saiyan Blue Goku overpowered the Super Saiyan 4 form Goku.

3 ANYONE IN FRIEZA'S RACE CAN REACH GOLDEN STATE

It was only shown that Frieza could reach the golden state in Dragon Ball Super, simply because he was the last of his race and the only one that actually trained to go further.

This was shown to be a form anyone in his race can reach when another universe's Cooler surpassed his final form and reached Golden Cooler form.

2 UNLIMITED TIMELINES

As said earlier, there are unlimited timelines in the Dragon Ball series. This concept was opened up in Dragon Ball, further looked into in Super, and cracked wide open in Heroes.

The Trunks of Dragon Ball Heroes series and his current predicaments are proof enough of that.

1 UNLIMITED UNIVERSES

Another concept that was cracked open even more was the fact that there are unlimited universes in the Dragon Ball series.

While Super shows that there are multiverses full of tons of different characters, Heroes shows that there are different versions of all the characters fans know and love and that even Dragon Ball GT still happened, albeit in a different universe.
