WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Dragon Ball Super Chapter 62, by Akira Toriyama, Toyotarou, Caleb Cook and Brandon Bovia, available now in English from Viz Media.

Early into Moro's invasion of Earth, the Z-Fighters went up against Seven-Three, a powerful being with the ability to copy the abilities of those whose necks he touched. While Androids 17 and 18 eventually took down Seven-Three, the villain absorbed the powers of several formidable heroes, including Piccolo, before he went down. In Dragon Ball Super Chapter 62,

Seven-Three died in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 61 when Moro -- who Vegeta nearly defeated using his powerful new Forced Spirit Fission technique -- ate his henchman to gain a backup of his powers. This act powered Moro up to heretofore unseen heights, and in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 62, Moro reveals just how strong he is now -- and it could spell the end of Earth.

After being taken down by Moro at the end of the previous issue, Vegeta gets back up and launches an attack against the villain. However, Moro explains that Forced Spirit Fission won't work this time around, as the villain has no intention of letting the Saiyan Prince hit him. Moro also reveals he's not subject to the same 30-minute time limit as Seven-Three. That cap meant that, after 30-minutes, Seven-Three lost access to the powers he'd copied. He's also able to access any powers Seven-Three had at-will. Moro then grabs Vegeta's neck to copy his abilities and beats the Saiyan Prince down before unleashing the hero's signature Big Bang Attack against him.

Piccolo then notes Moro is now capable of using Forced Spirit Fission, meaning he can immediately undo the results of the Potara Earrings or Fusion Dance. Thus, Goku and Vegeta won't be able to fuse into Gogeta or Vegito, who have been instrumental in taking down some of the deadliest foes in the Dragon Ball franchise. From there, Moro proceeds to absolutely devastate the Z-Fighters, potentially killing both Goku and Piccolo in the process by using the latter's abilities. While Merus appears at the end of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 62, things definitely look dire for the Z-Fighters and Earth on the whole.

The ability to undo any fusions means Goku and Vegeta have already essentially fought Moro at their most powerful. In order to take down Moro, the Z-Fighters are going to need an equalizer that either depowers the villain or gives them a way to work around his formidable capabilities. Right now, Merus is Earth's last hope -- and the Angel may not be enough in the end to stop the wrath of Moro.

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 63 releases Aug. 20.
