Akira Toriyama's popular anime, Dragon Ball Super, picked the story up from where Dragon Ball Z finished, with the Earth now deemed to be a peaceful place after the permanent elimination of the evil Kid Buu. But there was no time for Goku and Vegeta to rest as new threats continued to emerge every step of the way, with one of them bringing back some nostalgic feelings.
The resurrection of Frieza and the showcase of his new Golden form surprised a lot of fans as the Evil Emperor of the Dragon Ball Universe appeared to be a lot stronger than the last time he was alive. This newfound strength of his makes him an incredibly tough opponent for any superhero from the Marvel Comics but there are some who can definitely defeat him, although some might end up on the losing side.
10 Would Defeat: Daredevil
The Man Without Fear, Daredevil, aka Matthew Murdock, is one of the most iconic Marvel vigilantes ever, and yet, he isn't given the attention someone of his stature demands.
He doesn't have any superpowers other than heightened senses, an incredible martial arts technique, and his absolutely aesthetic devilish suit but sadly, these just aren't enough to beat Frieza let alone his Golden Form. Daredevil will lose pretty easily at the hands of the Evil Emperor.
9 Lose: Thor
One of the strongest Asgardians ever, Thor not only possesses God-like energy, but he is also very tough to kill, making him a superhero Frieza cannot beat.
Actually, Thor is one of those Marvel superheroes who can transform to increase their power levels, much like Frieza but the only difference is that Thor is the God of Thunder while Frieza is just another mortal. Even in his Golden form, Frieza would find it increasingly tough to get one over Thor.
8 Would Defeat: Falcon
Sam Wilson has a plethora of superpowers non-comic book fans don't even know of. He doesn't only have the highly advanced suit that gives him the ability to fly, but he is also one of the toughest hand-to-hand combatants in Marvel history.
Despite his perfection in various martial arts techniques, marksmanship, and swordsmanship, Falcon would find life very difficult in a one-on-one fight against Golden Frieza because the Evil Emperor just has too much power over him.
7 Lose: Hulk
Bruce Banner is a human whose life was saved by Hulk when he was exposed to lethal amounts of Gamma-Ray radiation. Now he carries a big green monster with him, who, on his day, is one of the strongest comic book superheroes ever created.
Golden Frieza might be able to outrun him, but when it comes to proper strength, Hulk is just that little bit stronger. This fight will definitely go to the wire and Frieza's small size might not help him in this one.
6 Would Defeat: Spider-Man
Peter Parker has a genius-level intellect, he has gained his superpowers from a radioactive spider and on top of that, he is also a survivor, something that cannot be said about most of the Marvel superheroes.
Still, his superpowers really aren't that intimidating, especially to those supervillains who have near God-level kind of power. While Golden Frieza is not at that level, he is certainly not far and he could beat Peter Parker with a single good shot.
5 Lose: Sentry
One can write a whole book about the kind of powers Sentry has at his disposal, ranging from regeneration and time manipulation to playing with molecules.
He is not someone Golden Frieza would want to go up against because, in simple terms, he just isn't strong enough to even be comparable to Sentry. Frieza would do well to last minutes against this Marvel superhero, let alone contemplate whether he could possibly beat him.
4 Would Defeat: Captain America
Steve Rogers might be the most patient and persistent superhero in the Marvel Comics but his superpowers aren't something supervillains would lose their sleep over, especially someone like Frieza who can pretty much destroy Captain America with a decent energy blast.
While Captain America's body might be able to stand all these attacks, it would just be a matter of time before he gives up and accepts defeat.
3 Lose: Scarlet Witch
Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch's potential superpowers are beyond anything one could imagine. She is a witch, who can not only do the stuff that Doctor Strange does, but she also has the strength to manipulate a celestial being.
She is definitely very underrated in the Marvel Universe and beating someone like Frieza is going to be very easy for her. Not only can she alter reality in front of his eyes, but she can also take him to the top of the Earth's atmosphere and just drop him.
2 Would Defeat: Iron Man
Tony Stark's most important superpower has never been the Iron Man suit, instead, it has always been his genius-level intellect that has, time and again, bailed out The Avengers from potentially catastrophic situations.
So in a one-on-one battle against the Evil Emperor Frieza, Iron Man will most likely end up on the losing side, considering the fact that he wouldn't have the time to come up with a viable solution against something as strong as Frieza's Golden form.
1 Lose: Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel is Earth's very own celestial being, who can defeat almost anyone on her day. She can generate planet-destroying energy from her bare hands while her punches have the capability of sending an opponent from one end of a city to another.
Golden Frieza just wouldn't be able to handle her. She is way too powerful for him; so much so that Frieza might need more than his Golden form. And for that, he'll require years of training.
