The Z Fighters have gone up against incredible powerful foes throughout the Dragon Ball series. One of those super-powered beings is Cell. The ultimate creation is designed by Dr. Gero with the directive to kill the happy-go-lucky saiyan, Goku. And with abilities from the greatest fighters visit and live on Earth, Cell is definitely more than a match for the strongest Z Fighters.
Using their own strength and abilities against them, Cell can go toe to toe with Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and several others. Cell is definitely a force to not be underestimated within Dragon Ball Z. But how does the ultimate creation compare to characters in other anime like the Naruto series? Let's see what ninjas can and can't take down the android of perfection.
10 Can Beat: Zabuza Momochi
As a rogue ninja and one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, Zabuza is a terrifying warrior that you don't want hunting you down. In order to get funds to further his own goals, Zabuza becomes an assassin for hire. With his line of work, Zabuza has gone against many skilled ninjas, one of them being Kakashi. However, even as a powerful swordsman, Zabuza is no match for the ultimate creation. As Demon of the Mist, Zabuza may be able to impair Cell's sight, but with Cell's strength and speed, Zabuza doesn't have the swiftness or the power to cut up Cell for good.
9 Can't Beat: Nagato (Six Paths of Pain)
Now Cell would have no problem defeating the sickly, run down Nagato. However, Cell may have a hard time going against Nagato's Six Paths of Pain. Not only would Cell be punching and blasting corpses that can't feel pain, but all the Pains' eyes are connected by the Rinnegan. Cell wouldn't be able to pull off an attack that the Pains can't see. Also since every Pain is unique, Cell would be thrown off guard trying to learn which Pain can do what. Finally, with the idea that ki and chakra are similar, Pain would be able to disrupt Cell's ki with his black receivers.
8 Can Beat: Jiraiya
Unfortunately, things won't go as well for Jiraiya. Jiraiya is a Toad Sage and master of ninjutsu. However, even with the sanin's several abilities, Cell would most likely be able to withstand Jiraiya's power.
Jiraiya might be able to defeat Cell in one blow with the Big Ball Rasengan, but it won't matter if he can't pin the villain down. Jiraiya has many toad-based abilities that can slow down Cell, but since Cell can flight, he can attack Jiraiya from a distance. Overall, Jiraiya's sage mode would be overpowered by Cell's saiyan power.
7 Can't Beat: Itachi Uchiha
For this matchup, the win goes to Itachi. Of course, the Itachi in this fight is the healthy Itachi, before the sickness. The older brother of Sasuke has always been a powerful ninja. With the skills to take on characters like Kakashi, Sasuke and Orochimaru, Itachi is definitely one of the strongest fighters in the Naruto series. Cell would be lost against the Sharingan prodigy. Since Cell wouldn't know about Itachi's eyes, he would be trapped in Itachi's genjutsu before the fight actually begins. Even if Cell was able to fight back, the chances of Cell landing a hit on the elusive Itachi is very unlikely.
6 Can Beat: Kisame Hoshigaki
However, the same can't be said for Itachi's Akatsuki partner, Kisame. Kisame is another member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and has so much chakra that he is known as "Tailed Beast without a Tail." Even though Kisame has a power that rivals a Tailed Beast, he does have enough to rival Cell. Kisame specializes and prefers brutal strength and close combat, which is what Cell accelerates at going up against. Considering that Cell is able to keep with Goku and Vegeta, he wouldn't have too much trouble in a hand-to-hand fight with Kisame.
5 Can't Beat: Madara Uchiha (Jinchuriki Form)
The great Cell might have had a chance against normal human Madara, but Madara, after consuming the Ten Tails Beast, is on a whole other level. In his jinchuriki form, Madara has the power to react to the fastest attacks and withstand the strongest hits.
With the sight of the Rinnegan and Truth-Seeking Balls that can assist him at any moment, Madara has power that rivals a god. And since Cell only has the strength of saiyans before they came saiyan gods, he wouldn't be able to compete with Madara's overwhelming power.
4 Can Beat: Might Guy
Master of taijutsu and one of the most powerful ninja in the Hidden Leaf is Might Guy. He has been able to defeat several ninjas simply by using his expertise in hand-to-hand combat. However, a battle between the two would not end in Cell's defeat. Might Guy is extremely good at fighting, but without other skills like ninjutsu and genjutsu, he wouldn't be able to get an effective opening on Cell. Even after opening the Eight Gates, as long as Cell isn't disintegrated in one blow, Guy's punches wouldn't mean much.
3 Can't Beat: Sasuke Uchiha
Another talented Uchiha that the perfected android can't defeat is Sasuke. Sasuke has inherited abilities and skills from many incredible ninjas like Kakashi, Orochimaru and Itachi. With skills on par with characters like Naruto, Madara and Kaguya, Sasuke is definitely strong enough to beat Cell.
With the power of the Susanoo, Rinnegan, Magekyo Sharingan and other techniques, Cell would be overwhelmed by Sasuke's abilities. Sasuke's visual prowess would be enough to immobilize Cell. Then, with his Susanoo, Sasuke would be able to finish the ultimate creation off with a single blow.
2 Can Beat: Orochimaru
The legendary sanin that seeks immortality and to learn all jutsus is Orochimaru. However, even with his vast knowledge, Orochimaru does have enough skills to overpower Cell. If Orochimaru was able to land a hit on Cell, his best bet would be to use his signature move: the cursed seal. However, with Cell's incredible regenerative abilities, the durable android can simply cut off the part of his body with the cursed mark and regrow it. Even if the mark still resides in the android's body, Orochimaru could cut off Cell's energy but not his natural speed and strength that surpasses Orochimaru's.
1 Can't Beat: Naruto Uzumaki
It should come at no surprise that the main character of the series can take down the mighty Cell. Naruto has learned several skills and abilities over the years. Not only is Naruto strong enough to punch people into the ground and fast enough to dodge light speed attack, but with the power of sage mode combined with the Nine Tailed Beast, Kurama, Naruto has enough in his arsenal to outdo Cell in strength, speed and power. Since Naruto also built a connect with Kurama, the Nine Tails would also assist Naruto making the fight a two on one. Cell, even with his perfection, can't beat the hyperactive ninja.
