The Dragon Ball series is one that is full of some of the most iconic signature moves in all of anime. There is no way you can find an anime fan that's never heard anyone utter the word Kamehameha. However, there are a wide variety of attacks in Dragon Ball, as all the main characters have great signature moves of their own.
Which of these signature moves is the strongest though? That's the answer that this list will be answering by ranking all of the main characters' signature moves from weakest to strongest.
12 KAMEKAMEHA
No, that isn't misspelled. Goten's signature move is the Kamekameha beam. For those wondering why this move is so low on the list, it's because Goten's special pronunciation of this iconic energy wave has a special effect on the move.
Not only is the beam smaller due to the young Saiyan's inexperience but it also always misdirects because, as a child, Goten had no control over it.
11 WOLF FANG FIST
The Wolf Fang Fist move is one that literally everyone thinks is awesome as a kid but once older it becomes lamer when compared to everyone else's special moves. Much like the creator and user of the move, Yamcha.
While the technique definitely has some swag to it, the Wolf Fang Fist is on the weaker side of things in the Dragon Ball series. This is mostly due to the fact that it's a human's simple flurry of melee attacks. This move won't be hurting any new enemies anytime soon.
10 INFINITY BULLET
Android 18's Infinity Bullet is a rapid-fire version of her move used by her evil future self, Power Blitz. It consists of her raising both her hands together and opening her palms away from her. Out of her palms comes two pink energy spheres that release a bunch of smaller ki blasts.
The reason this move is so low is that it's just a ki blast flurry that everyone can do but with a special color and a name.
9 MASENKO
The Masenko is a move that comes from Piccolo and was given to Gohan. Its name translates to "Demon's Flash of Light," mirroring Piccolo's demon origins. It's a special beam in execution due to the pose that Gohan takes to fire it off with both his hands to his forehead and palms facing out.
It's basically a yellow beam that works like any other energy wave in the series. It could be much stronger but Gohan doesn't keep up with his training.
8 MAX POWER KAMEHAMEHA
Surely Master Roshi's showing during the Tournament of Power woke up everyone that was sleeping on him. If not, then this placement certainly will, because his MAX Power Kamehameha technique is one of the best in the series.
This is Roshi's most powerful technique and was once the strongest move in the series as well. In fact, it was used to destroy the moon during the original series. A feat once thought impossible for a mere human in the Dragon Ball universe.
7 DESTRUCTO DISC
The Destructo Disc is easily one of the scariest attacks to come in contact with throughout the entirety of Dragon Ball. One-touch of this move and any fighter can kiss having all their limbs connected to their body goodbye.
The reason that this move isn't any higher is due to the fact that its power, when used by Krillin, isn't its max potential. If Gohan in Super Saiyan 2 form can touch and extinguish one from Cell then imagine any powerful character coming in contact with a disc from Krillin.
6 BURNING ATTACK
The Burning Attack technique is the signature move of none other than Trunks, Future Trunks in particular. It is one of the most iconic moves in the series due to its execution consisting of rapid hand movement and a hand pose leaving a triangle between the fingers.
It is also a move that originally would be lower if not for Trunks's rise in power level during his time in the future as seen in Dragon Ball Super.
5 TRI-BEAM
Much like Trunks's signature move, Tien's Tri-Beam is known for its unique hand-sign. However, this move is very different than Burning Attack due to the fact that it takes life-force from the user when used. This is one of the reasons that Tri-Beam is so powerful.
This move grows along with Tien and became the Neo Tri-Beam in the Cell Saga, proving to be powerful enough to hold back Cell himself.
4 SPECIAL BEAM CANNON
The Special Beam Cannon is a signature move that is basically on the same level as Tien's Tri-Beam. Much like the Tri-Beam, this signature move of Piccolo's even has a downside, specifically, its charge time. This charge time, however, is the reason it's such a powerful move.
Without the charge, it may as well be a normal and weak beam. Once able to charge though, the Beam Cannon is able to just about drill through and kill any opponent.
3 GALICK GUN
The Galick Gun is the signature move of Vegeta and made its appearance as a planet-destroying beam. Of course, knowing Vegeta, one can be sure that this move has only grown in power along with him as the series has moved on.
This is 100% the case as the Galick Gun has remained one of the Saiyan Prince's go-to moves and has spawned even more and more powerful variations.
2 KAMEHAMEHA
The Kamehameha is basically Goku's version of the Galick Gun and is still one of the strongest moves in the series for the same reasons as Vegeta's signature purple beam. This move has been Goku's bread and butter since it was learned from its originator Master Roshi.
Goku has since upgraded and perfected this technique with a large number of variations.
1 SPHERE OF DESTRUCTION
Of course, the God of Destruction better have one of the strongest signature moves in the entire series. Beerus shows off the Sphere of Destruction in the film Battle of the Gods during his fight against Goku once he attempts to destroy the planet.
This move, also known as Beerus Ball, has immense power. With enough charge and impact, it is apparently able to destroy an entire universe.
