Few anime ever really let their ships be realized, let alone show them in the ongoing continuity of the series. That's where Dragon Ball breaks the mold and perhaps even sets the standard. The first man and lady of Shonen series, Goku and Chi-Chi's long running relationship is one of the most beloved marriages in anime, rivaling even the time tested romances of Superman and Lois Lane or Spiderman and Mary Jane.

There's a strong, understood foundation that allows fans, at one end, to attach and familiarize with the relationship. However, at the other end, they'll meme the pants out of it. Like any good marriage, Goku and Chi-Chi's is full of quirks and personalities which is why this list will be running down some of the best memes of their relationship.

10 Don't. Touch. Her.

Let it be known that if someone's going to harass someone's wife, let Chi-Chi be the last one they ever do. One does not simply mess with the savior of the universe's best girl. Overall, there really are only a few personal things that Goku ever really attaches himself to.

That used to be his pop's dragon ball before he needed it for the universe and stuff. As he grew older and climbed a bunch of the mountains that he wanted to climb, his family becomes much more important to him. Or, at least, Chi-Chi is. Gohan can just go back and live with Piccolo.

9 Goku! I'm Pregnant!

While on the one hand, Goku could go absolutely berserk if someone goes after his wife. On the other is the teleportation signal that Goku will use to escape child care payments. Goku isn't exactly the best father, let alone the most present or existent one.

It really does seem that for most of the series, Goku is kind of outie when it comes to just being in the household. However, in all fairness, he does have more important stuff to do than raise a child, like saving the universe or checkers or something. Let's all just be glad that not every father has instant transmission.

8 Goku: Technically a Prince

Vegeta may have been the "Prince of all Saiyans," but that doesn't really mean jack squat on Earth. It really would be appropriate for Vegeta to act in abject shock when learning about Goku's relatively more royal status as the husband to the princess of Fire Mountain, a title often forgotten with Chi-Chi given her new role as nagging housewife.

But, in the old age of Dragon Ball (without the Z), Chi-Chi and the Ox-King were royalty and not domestic citizens, meaning Goku could have some diplomatic power. That is, if the world were to honor firey mountain nobility.

7 Chi-Chi's Got Mom Jokes

Goku has not exactly matured to the extent that he can tell dad jokes. As such, it does make more sense for him to be the embarrassed child, as Chi-Chi takes the job.

If anything, this really does seem like a conversation would have in their little hut. Goku's going to complain about food because he has the neediness of a child, and Chi-Chi's going to joke around about it, as she has a face that screams mom jeans. If one ever needs to explain how the two's relationship works, basically show them this.

6 My Goku Has Never Lost a Fight!

Oh, snap! The sound of high heels being taken off and earrings being torn off can practically be heard in the air. This image right here sees two of anime's most famous soccer moms arguing about whose husband makes the most, with Chi-Chi letting no one go after her man.

Bulma, however, is the wife to one of the coldest Saiyans in the galaxy, so of course she's prepared a comeback right in the chamber. Let it also be known that Beerus' eternal smug face is absolutely perfect for playing the smug, falling back rapper role.

5 No, I Don't Think I Will.

While the ol' Cap meme is still around, it's fun to see the anime community put it to great use. Goku is a man of few yet distinct choices. He knows what he likes and what he definitely doesn't like. He likes fighting. He doesn't like malicious androids.

He likes training. He doesn't like acting like a decent father. Simple. It's an attitude that really does match Cap's passive dismissal, as Chi-Chi can only just try and yell louder than Goku's stubbornness.

4 You're Awful, Goku.

For clarity, a Dragon Ball Super episode sees Goku admit that he's never kissed Chi-Chi which kind of protects Goku's clean marketability for Shonen Jump, but it does send the entire fandom on a meme storm, as everyone tries to rationalize what that means. If anything, it adds a little too much ambiguity to the intimacy of his married life which is already pretty rocky on top of his parenting skills.

Goku obviously doesn't mean anything when he asks for one-on-one time (especially in a video game), but that still doesn't stop how awkward it sounds in his long line of questionable relationship goals.

3 Martial Arts Are A Waste

As said several times in this list, to Goku's credit, he does save the world quite a bit. It happens so frequently that it practically should be a job at least compared to whatever else Goku, of his particular skill set, could be doing.

Even though Goku could be working a little harder to support his family, his martial arts skills aren't exactly waste in comparison to supporting the entire world. To summarize: Chi-Chi, calm down. You're nagging an alien god.

2 To Save the Planet!

As a deadbeat dad, Goku has found a variety of ways to not be in the household. Like the anime version of a sitcom husband, Goku is constantly finding schemes to getting out of doing house or fatherly work, like teleporting away, saving planets, or, in this case, dying. Dying: a pretty good excuse to not be a father. It is one of many that really could make Chi-Chi mad enough to summon her own version of kaioken.

1 Ways to Tell a Woman's Mad at You

For reference, it has yet to be confirmed whether or not Chi-Chi can use kaioken. However, that doesn't stop how hilarious the Kaioken Chi-Chi meme is. The thought of Chi-Chi using an advanced, supernatural martial arts skill to reign in her husband is an amazing image.

It's already a big running gag that Chi-Chi is always getting mad at Goku and even personifies the ever logic-defying trope of a female, human lead being able to hurt the superhuman protagonist. The red aura alone just matches the exact mood necessary for terrifying the universe's strongest hero. No one is safe from a woman's scorn.
