To many, Son Goku is one of the most iconic heroes in all of anime. Goku's saved the day throughout the entire Dragon Ball franchise thanks to his limit-shattering power and unbreakable spirit. However, no one is perfect or beloved by everyone and Goku is no exception to this.
With the large array of anime heroes across the medium, there are personalities that rarely, if ever, mix and a lot who would not be some of this Saiyan warrior's biggest fans. Whether it's due to Goku's faults, strength, or even just general personality, these characters would probably hate him pretty fast.
10 Shirou Ogami's Beastman Pride Won't Allow Him To Accept Goku (BNA: Brand New Animal)
Shirou Ogami is a proud Beastman and the legendary Silver Wolf, a savior of Beastman-kind in times of crisis. Given Goku's background as a Saiyan, he used to have a tail that resembled a monkey's that he's long since abandoned and this would probably give Ogami the wrong idea.
Ogami is passionate about being a Beastman and probably doesn't think highly of someone like Goku who's had it easy from being born looking mostly human and then remove his only beast-like trait. He wouldn't see him as a human or a Beastman.
9 Inosuke Hashibara Would Be Ticked Off By Goku Quickly (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba)
Goku's mostly pretty friendly to everyone by default, even when he's trying to get a fight out of them. However, not everyone is taken in by that positive attitude and some can be ticked off by it pretty quickly. Such is the case for Inosuke, who's short-tempered and usually attacks first and asks questions later.
Upon meeting Goku, Inosuke would probably try to fight Goku. He'd lose fast given the power difference between the two. This would probably only anger Inosuke more who'll aggressively try and one-up Goku at every turn to prove that he's better.
8 Boruto Uzumaki Is Not Fond of Absentee Dads (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations)
Despite being a father and grandfather, Goku often leaves his family for long stretches of time to train and fight new opponents, so his skills as a family man are pretty lacking. There are tons of anime characters who have issues with absentee fathers who would probably take issue with this, one of them being Boruto Uzumaki.
Given that Naruto can also be a bit of an absentee parent, Goku would probably remind Boruto too much of his own dad... and not in a good way. The fact that they both wear orange and aren't exactly the brightest outside of fighting probably won't help either.
7 Levi Ackerman Would See Goku as Someone with Too Much Power (Attack on Titan)
Levi respects only a select few people. Most others are treated pretty coldly by him. He's also not afraid to make his hatred for others known and has little tolerance for fools that act recklessly. That alone would put Goku on the list of people Levi won't like, but to make matters worse, Levi's also been around those who wield too much power for their own good.
Between Eren and the other Titan Shifters, Levi has watched good people be killed directly or as collateral damage while wielding power they shouldn't have even had. Considering Goku's battles going beyond the galactic scale and how many lives can be lost in the process, Levi would likely hate Goku that much more.
6 Mob Would Try to Avoid Fighting Him at All Costs (Mob Psycho 100)
Shigeo Kageyama, AKA Mob, might just be one of the most powerful espers out there, being able to defeat anyone that forces him to go all out. Considering that Goku is always looking for strong opponents to fight and always wants to fight them at their best, he'd likely try to push Mob any way he can to get him to let loose his immense psychic powers.
The only thing is, Mob has a strict code about using his powers and goes to great lengths to avoid using them on others at all costs. This probably wouldn't deter Goku from trying to force it out of Mob, which would probably make Mob dislike Goku all the more.
5 Naofumi Iwatani Would Be Rubbed The Wrong Way By Goku's Behavior (Rising of the Shield Hero)
Some people get tired of having to clean other people's messes and the Shield Hero, Naofumi, would definitely be one of them. Naofumi already has to deal with the mistakes of his fellow heroes, the ugly side of what their carelessness and mindless behaviors cause. Throw Goku into the mix and Naofumi has yet another source of grief to deal with.
Goku is often pretty reckless, not really looking before leaping when it comes to fighting strong opponents, showing his enemies mercy, or not considering whether or not his actions have consequences. He may not always mean to come off that way, but it would be enough to make Naofumi dislike the Saiyan warrior.
4 Tatsumaki Would Dislike Goku the Same Way She Dislikes Saitama (One-Punch Man)
Despite her small stature, Tatsumaki is a powerful esper and recognized as one of the most powerful S-Class heroes in One-Punch Man. She's also extremely short-tempered and hot-headed, having little respect for anyone that annoys her, quite a long list which even includes Saitama.
Tatsumaki probably wouldn't get along with Goku either, since he has roughly the same amount of casualness as the "Caped Baldy" himself. Goku is wrapped in more immature behavior and would also likely mistake her for a kid too. On top of that, his recklessness with his own power may make Tatsumaki believe Goku is incompetent.
3 Katsuki Bakugo Hates Basically Everybody Anyway (My Hero Academia)
Bakugo might just be one of anime's angriest characters of all time. He basically hates everyone and is ticked off or extremely annoyed by everything. In short, he's just not the type to get along with most people, and Goku would be no exception to that.
Despite Goku's friendly personality, Bakugo would be annoyed by him pretty quickly. Accounting for the power difference too, Bakugo's pride would take a hit if he tried fighting Goku too since he sees himself as the strongest. He's not too unlike another Saiyan warrior Goku knows.
2 Vinsmoke Sanji Already Has One Blackhole Stomach to Feed (One Piece)
If there's one aspect about Goku that rivals his power level, it's his bottomless pit of a stomach that allows him to pack away a ridiculous amount of food. His appetite rivals few others, but one that could at least compete is Luffy's. Fortunately for Luffy, he's got a great cook in Sanji who can keep up with the straw hat captain's hunger.
Sanji would probably not be a big fan of Goku given all the similarities he and Luffy have in common that annoy him, from their lack of brains to incredible strength. Goku's appetite would send things over the top. For Sanji, dealing with one blackhole stomach is enough.
1 Senku Ishigami's Brains Won't Mix With Goku's Brawn (Dr. Stone)
Sometimes, brains and brawn can work in tandem, but in the case of Senku and Goku, the odds are pretty slim. It's not as though Goku hasn't worked with scientist characters before and it's not as though Senku hates anyone who's more bulk than brain. However, for an analytic person like Senku, he's likely to see Goku's flaws first.
Given Goku's experiences, behavior, and overwhelming power, Senku's likely to label Goku as "powerful, but careless and irresponsible." After everything he's been through with Tsukasa, Senku has every right to be cautious of someone with great strength.
