Legendary Pictures helped bring some pretty iconic characters back to the big screen while partnered with Warner Bros., not the least of which were Batman and Superman.

Now that the company has partnered with Universal Pictures, the shingle just might have a hand in resurrecting another classic character: Dracula.

Variety reports the new union might see its first fruit in the form of Dracula, directed by newcomer Gary Shore and starring Luke Evans (Immortals, Fast & Furious 6) and Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger). The deal wasn't officially commented on, but sources said the combination is likely.

Legendary is also reportedly looking to co-finance Jurassic Park 4, which is right in the Pacific Rim and Godzilla producers' wheelhouse.

Dracula is scheduled for a Aug. 8, 2014 release.
