Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's Doomsday Clock is headed in a different direction. Speaking to CBR, Johns teased that the story will undergo a drastic change in issue #7.

"Issue #7 then changes the story completely," Johns revealed at Comic-Con International in San Diego. "The first six kind of go one way, and the next six go this other way, and I'm really excited for people to see the story. We just went into a fourth printing, which is cool, on issue #1, which is great because Gary [Frank] and I are -- we want people to read the book. You know, we're really making a book that's supposed to be read many times."

He's like, 'Oh, I didn't read it yet.' I'm like, 'Guys, read the backmatter!'" he shared. "I know it's a lot of text, but read it! I know it's a lot of text, but read it!
