Writer Geoff Johns and artist Gary Frank's Doomsday Clock has seen some of the biggest characters from Watchmen entering DC's main universe, resulting in disaster for many of the publisher's biggest heroes. Clark Kent/Superman has been particularly affected. As such, the entire series has been leading to a showdown between Superman and Doctor Manhattan.

DC has now released a first look at Doomsday Clock #12 and the beginning of the battle between the two powerful characters. You can see the preview of Doomsday Clock #12 along with the solicitation information for the issue below.

The first issue of Doomsday Clock released in November 2017. The 12-issue series, which has seen long and frequent delays, serves as a sequel to Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' Watchmen.
