Doomsday Clock: Gary Frank Unveils Mesmerizing Issue #11 Teaser Panel

Doomsday Clock artist Gary Frank has shared a new teaser panel from the long-awaited eleventh issue of the DC Comics series.

The piece of uncolored art, which Frank shared on Twitter, shows a bevy of DC heroes, including Batman, Wonder Woman, Shazam. Cyborg, Hawkman, Flash, Martian Manhunter, Nightwing, Mister Miracle, Swamp Thing and many, many more. "Clearly [Geoff Johns] is trying to kill me," Frank wrote in a subsequent post, adding, "And we're both trying to kill [Brad Anderson]."

According to the plot summary for issue #11, "The critically acclaimed series by the renowned team of writer Geoff Johns and artist Gary Frank marches toward its conclusion. In this penultimate issue, the truth behind 'Rebirth' is revealed as Batman searches for the one person he believes can help him save the world…Rorschach!"

Written by Geoff Johns and colored by Brad Anderson, the first issue of Doomsday Clock launched in November 2017. The 12-issue series, which has seen long and frequent delays, serves as a sequel to Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' Watchmen, and sees characters from that universe interacting with a variety of heroes in the DC Universe.

Doomsday Clock #11 releases September 4.
