Players can now play through the entire game of Doom on their calculators and even their digital cameras. "Will it run Doom?" used to be mostly be a joke, but a lot of really creative people have taken that as a challenge to get the classic game playable on any electronic device with a screen.

Going to an ATM seems easy enough, but what if you had to play through Doom to make a transaction? A video by Aussie50 on YouTube shows the game being played on the monitor, just with a keyboard. The video shows the game without any lag, playing as normal.

They got music to play from the ATM as well, giving the gameplay that classic Doom feeling. The side buttons for the ATM work as weapon select, meaning players would still need a keyboard of their own.

9 Add, Subtract, Multiply, and Doom On A Calculator

It's normal to see students being distracted by their phones, but what if they got distracted by Doom? The YouTuber known as Lazy Game Reviews coded Doom so it could be played on a TI-83 calculator. His video shows how to install Doom to the calculator as well, allowing anyone to play it.

The game is controlled by the arrow keys of the calculator, but just be warned it will run slowly. If anyone can get through the whole game on a calculator, that is worth bragging about.

As if needing a pregnancy test was not stressful enough, a programmer got one to play Doom. Known as @Foone on Twitter, the programmer first got video of Doom to play on a pregnancy test. After explaining it was just a video, Foone went the next step and got the game to actually play.

The quality of the game is not good, but that should be expected for something that small. It should also be noted that to run this version of Doom, someone will have to activate the pregnancy test, so a full bladder is one of the requirements to get this version of Doom running.

Playing Doom on a thermostat is sure to turn up the heat. A YouTuber known as cz7asm started a project so they could port Doom to a thermostat. While it might not play any noise, players are able to try the game on a brand new system.

The YouTuber used a Honeywell thermostat, being able to plug in a controller and a processor into the device. By porting the game, players will have a handheld version of the game.

Facebook's Tel Aviv office made it so that Doom could be played on an Apple Watch. The screen is only about 1 inch wide, making it probably the smallest version of Doom playable. Since there are no buttons, players would need to tap the screen to move their character.

Tapping in the top right on the screen is how players are able to fire their weapons. Surprisingly as well, the speakers on the Apple Watch make it so the music of the game comes through.

Nintendo released the Super Mario Bros. Game & Watch portable device, which was able to run three games. The YouTuber known as stacksmashing made it so the device could run Doom. Despite this, the music had to be muted and textures had to be changed.

The game also runs slower, keeping in pace with the Super Mario Bros. games already on the device. It would seem that, because of this, the Game & Watch can now run four games instead of just the original three.

A security researcher hacked a Canon printer to make it run Doom. The project came as a way to demonstrate the security flaws in devices that connect to the Internet. Canon responded to this, saying they would fix loopholes on future printers.

Because it is on a printer's screen, the colors for Doom are not the best. For anyone who wants to play a trippy version of the game, hacking a printer will bring the best results. The YouTuber Lazy Game Reviews got Doom to run on a digital camera as well. He got the game to run on a Kodak DC260, which runs on an OS system that makes it like a computer. By downloading a version of Doom meant for the camera and putting a compact flash card in, the game can be played.

The screen for the camera is about 2 inches, giving a small view of the game. Using the selection wheel makes the player move while using the button on the top right interacts. Moving it to the left makes the player shoot while moving to the right opens things.

1 The GPS That Guides You To Hell

One person got Doom to run on their Magellan RoadMate GPS system. The device runs Windows, meaning the person created a script to run Doom. The game was able to run successfully, just at a lower solution than others.

As if that isn't cool enough, the person also got Duke Nukem 3D to run on the RoadMate as well. Sadly, a mouse or keyboard could not be fitted to the device, meaning they didn't actually get to play the game.
