Doom Patrol's second episode, "Donkey Patrol," has given fans a potential update on the whereabouts of Titans' Superboy and Krypto with a cleverly-placed Easter egg.

The blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment comes when Cyborg is scanning various TV channels looking for crimes. As he peruses various stories on his display screen, we see an incident with a father in Metropolis pleading "Not Guilty" to charges of being responsible for a freeway accident that resulted in the deaths of five people. He claimed his car was hit by a naked man with a dog, hinting at the Titans Season 1 finale's post-credits scene featuring the debut of Superboy and Krypto as they escaped Cadmus.

This nod could potentially mean Doom Patrol is taking place right at the end of Titans' debut season in terms of timeline, with another story in Cyborg's scrolling pinpointing a woman with glowing green eyes in Detroit.

This woman could very well be Starfire as she sought out Raven. But with the woman being Brazilian, it could also be Beatriz de Costa, aka the DC heroine Fire. With both well-placed nods, it appears both shows may be trying to link themselves subtly to each other to paint a connected TV universe.

Streaming now on DC Universe, Doom Patrol stars Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele, Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor, Diana Guerrero as Crazy Jane, Alan Tudyk as Mr. Nobody, April Bowlby as Rita Farr, Joivan Wade as Vic Stone and Timothy Dalton as Niles Caulder.
