New photos from the set of DC Universe's upcoming Doom Patrol series provide a look at Diane Guerrero in costume as the character Kay Challis/Crazy Jane.

These snapshots from the show's Atlanta, Georgia set were captured by Hollywood Pipeline and feature Guerrero making her way down the street in her punk rock attire. She can be seen walking by other pedestrians (as well as alongside mental facility orderlies), stopping to pet a dog and delivering a big kick to a discarded can while enjoying a pretzel. According to Hollywood Pipeline, these photos come from a scene in which Jane makes her escape from the Corpus Sanatorium. Guerrero can also be seen warming up with a co-star in-between takes.

Created by Grant Morrison and Richard Case, the character of Crazy Jane made her first appearance in 1989's Doom Patrol #19. She has since become a mainstay of the titular team of misfit superheroes, most recently appearing in Gerard Way's Doom Patrol series under DC's Young Animal imprint. Jane has multiple different personalities and is able to change her superpowers based on whichever personality she is currently assuming.

Guerrero will be the first to play the character in live-action when the new series debuts on the DC Universe streaming service.
