Karen Obilom (Games People Play) will appear in a recurring role for the second season of DC Universe/HBO Max series, Doom Patrol. She portrays Roni Evers, a character who is described as a “military veteran with a mysterious past” -- one that may have deeper connections to certain members of the team. Evers will meet Joivan Wade’s character Vic Stone/Cyborg while both are in attendance for a PTSD support group.

Written by Jeremy Carver, Doom Patrol is based on the DC comic book characters originally created by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani. It tells the story of an unlikely group of scarred and disfigured heroes who are brought together by The Chief. Together, they discover a renewed purpose through their heroic efforts.
