HBO Max shared its own moral alignment chart featuring the oddball heroes of Doom Patrol.Posted to Twitter, HBO Max classified each member of the Doom Patrol and other characters in its own moral alignment chart, from "Lawful Good" to "Chaotic Evil." Starting with "Lawful Good" is Vic Stone/Cyborg, Rita as "Lawful Neutral" and Night Nurse as "Lawful Evil." Moving on is Larry/Negative Man as "Neutral Good," Cliff as "True Neutral" and Niles/the Chief as "Neutral Evil." Finally, two of Kay Challis' personalities have been classified as well, with Crazy Jane as "Chaotic Good" and Miranda as "Chaotic Evil." HBO Max recently dropped a bizarre midseason trailer for Doom Patrol, teasing the final four episodes of Season 3 which premiered in September, dropping its first three episodes on Sept. 23, with subsequent episodes releasing on a weekly basis. Season 3 is slated to run for 10 episodes and will conclude on Nov. 11.

The trailer itself featured a bizarre collection from DC's Island of Misfit Toys, and promised the rest of DC's HBO Max series will be as weird as ever, stating, "Something very ugly is set to occur, and it needs to be stopped." Along with the midseason trailer, it was also officially confirmed that Doom Patrol had been renewed for a fourth season to premiere exclusively on HBO Max.

The series is based on the DC comic books originally created by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani, and subsequently reimagined by the likes of Grant Morrison and Gerard Way, among others, Doom Patrol first premiered on the now-defunct DC Universe streaming service in 2019. When the series returned for a second season in 2020, it was released exclusively on DC Universe and HBO Max, but due to the restructuring of DC Universe, it was announced the show would be available exclusively on HBO Max for Season 3.

Doom Patrol stars Brendan Fraser as Robotman, Matt Bomer as Negative Man, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, April Bowlby as Elasti-Girl, Joivan Wade as Cyborg, Timothy Dalton as The Chief and Skye Roberts as Kay Challis. Season 3 also added a new main cast member in Michelle Gomez, who portrays Madame Rouge.

New episodes of Doom Patrol Season 3 drop Thursdays on HBO Max. Season 4 does not currently have a release date.
