Titans has yet to debut, but DC Universe is already moving ahead with its next series.Production on Doom Patrol has officially kicked off in Atlanta, Georgia, which has brought fans their first look at some of the cast in costume. Actresses Diane Guerrero and April Bowlby were spotted headed to the set in costume as their characters Crazy Jane and Elasti-Woman, respectively. Also joining the women were what looked to be stunt doubles for Robotman, who will be played by Brendan Fraser, and Negative Man.RELATED: Doom Patrol Casts The Mummy’s Brendan Fraser in Lead RoleGuerrero's Crazy Jane is surprisingly sporting a rather comics accurate look, although, to be fair, her costuming is rather simple in both forms of media. Meanwhile, April Bowlby's Elasti-Woman is sporting a simple green dress. Bowlby, of course, is set to make her DC Universe debut in an upcoming episode of Titans ahead of her turn as the character on Doom Patrol, so perhaps we'll get a better idea of her (potential) costume then?

As exciting as it is to see both Guerrero and Bowlby on set, the most exciting part of these photos are the first looks at both Robotman and Negative Man. It's expected that Fraser will do motion capture work as Robotman, so it's more than likely that the man sporting the bronze body parts beneath a pair of tattered jeans and a leather jacket is simply a stunt double. The same can't be said for Negative Man given that, as of this writing, it's still a mystery who is playing the role. Expect that to change in the coming weeks now that production is underway.
