As the strangest super-team in the DC Universe, the Doom Patrol has faced many wonderfully weird enemies. However, in Season 2, the team may encounter their most bizarre antagonists yet in the masked Dr. Jonathan Tyme.
DC Universe has released new photos from the Season 2 episode "Tyme Patrol," which see Rita briefing the team on their new disco inferno-inspired foe. After the mission prep, Rita is seen alongside Robotman and Crazy Jane as they confront Doctor Tyme at a groovy roller rink.
Cliff, Jane, and Rita pursue Dr. Tyme (guest star Brandon Perea) – and his time-altering space mineral – in their reluctant quest to help Niles and Dorothy. At a support group, Vic meets Roni (guest star Karen Obilom), a feisty military vet who challenges his beliefs. And Larry comes face-to-face with his past at a funeral.
Harry Jierjian directed the episode which is written by April Fitzsimmons and Neil Reynolds. Guest stars in the episode include Abigail Shapiro as Dorothy Spinnor, John Getz as Paul Trainor, Karen Obilom as Roni Evers, Brandon Perea as Dr. Jonathan Tyme, and Mark Ashworth as Rupert.
Streaming now on DC Universe and HBO Max, Doom Patrol stars Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele, Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor, Diana Guerrero as Crazy Jane, Alan Tudyk as Mr. Nobody, April Bowlby as Rita Farr, Joivan Wade as Vic Stone and Timothy Dalton as Niles Caulder. Season 2 premieres on both services Thursday, June 25.
