Audition tapes for the role of Cyborg on DC's live-action Doom Patrol series have leaked online. Footage from the tapes would indicate that the DC Universe series will keep some of the mature content found in DC Comics' Vertigo publishing line.

Actors Roderick Lawrence, Buom Tihngang and Micheal Xavier star in the leaked audition tapes, with portions of their dialogue falling into the R-rated category.

Cyborg's name appeared in the initial synopsis for Doom Patrol, leading many to speculate the fan-favorite hero could also appear on the first season of Titans. In the Doom Patrol synopsis, Cyborg is the person who calls the team of reluctant heroes into action, “with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.”

Based on the team of super-powered misfits introduced in 1963 by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani, the series will spin out of the events of the live-action Titans, which will feature the Doom Patrol in its fifth episode.
