Donny Cates recently shared a trailer for his Panel Syndicate comic series, The One You Feed.

The One You Feed reunited Cates with artist Dylan Burnett, who previously worked with him on the Cosmic Ghost Rider miniseries at Marvel and the upcoming Wereworld series for Image Comics. Cates shared the trailer for their latest comic on Twitter.

Edited by YouTube film essayist Patrick H. Willems, the trailer intercuts images of civilians with art from the comic, which features demons and darkness. As the trailer shows, The One You Feed features a world overrun by darkness. Moonlight transforms humans into the demons that reside within their souls. A prince armed with a sword called Attum undertakes a journey to face the horrors that lay beyond his city's walls.

Cates has previously said that the comic features ties to the God Country miniseries he co-created with Geoff Shaw for Image Comics.

Panel Syndicate allows readers to pay whatever price they want for issues of a comic book series. All five issues of The One You Feed will be available on Panel Syndicate, with the series being physically printed at Image.

Cates is currently writing Crossover for Image, which reunites him with Shaw. He will also write King in Black for Marvel, which concludes the "Knull Trilogy" he started with artist Ryan Stegman in Venom and Absolute Carnage. The One You Feed #1 is currently available to purchase at Panel Syndicate's website.
