WarnerMedia's forthcoming streaming service, HBO Max, has landed exclusive streaming rights to BBC's Doctor Who.

When HBO Max launches in spring 2020, all 11 seasons of Doctor Who will be available to stream. This will also mark Season 11's SVOD debut. Moving forward, HBO Max will exclusively host upcoming seasons after they air on BBC America.

Doctor Who isn't the only BBC show to appear on HBO Max. The streaming service will host The Office, Top Gear, Luther and The Honorable Woman, among others. Pure, Trigonometry, Stath Lets Flats, Home and Ghosts are also included in the deal. Over 700 episodes of BBC content will be available on HBO Max.

Doctor Who stars Jodie Whittaker as the thirteenth iteration of the titular Time Lord. Whittaker is joined by co-stars Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole, Mandip Gill in a series spearheaded by new showrunner, Chris Chibnall. The New Year's Special "Resolution" was the only new episode of 2019, with production of Season 12 now officially unfolding this year. The new episodes are slated to arrive sometime in 2020.
