After months of speculation, Doctor Who is finally set to reveal its Thirteenth Doctor this weekend.
Ahead of the show's panel at Comic-Con International next week, its Twitter account released a short video teasing that Peter Capaldi's successor will be announced Sunday, following the Wimbledon men's final.

There's been plenty of speculation about the identity of the next Doctor, with Luke Treadaway (Fortitude) and Sacha Dhawan (Iron Fist) said to be the frontrunners for the highly coveted role.
Of course, that doesn't mean the BBC and the incoming showrunner Chris Chibnall, along with the new executive producer Matt Strevens, haven't looked elsewhere.
Capaldi, who's exiting the series along with current showrunner Steven Moffat, is set to make his final promotional appearance for the series next week at Comic-Con. The Hall H panel will serve as a farewell for both Capaldi and Moffat, who are coming off of what has been considered one of Doctor Who's strongest seasons in recent years. While the full cast has yet to be confirmed for the panel, it's entirely possible the new Doctor will be on hand prior to his debut in the Christmas special.
