The team behind Sinister is about to explore the Outer Limits.

Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill have been hired to adapt the classic television series The Outer Limits for the big screen, with MGM and Mark Victor Productions producing. The screenwriting duo will focus on a particular episode of the anthology series for their adaptation, called "Demon with a Glass Hand."

The episode focused on "a man with no memory beyond the last 10 days and a computerized hand who discovers he is from the future," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Aliens attempt to hunt the man down in an effort to save their own species, but an unexpected and "terrifying truth" comes to light.

It's the second high-profile job for Derrickson this month, as he was just tapped by Marvel to direct Doctor Strange.
