While most of the world waits with bated breath to see how Avengers: Endgame plays out and reinvents the Marvel Cinematic Universe, some have been reveling in their foreknowledge of what's coming next.

This includes the director of Doctor Strange and the upcoming Doctor Strange 2, Scott Derrickson. Derrickson revealed on Twitter that he was blown away by director Joe Russo's pitch for Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame after running into him outside a restroom.

"While editing Doctor Strange at Marvel, I ran into Joe Russo outside the men’s room," Derrickson related. "He pitched me the basic story for both Infinity War and Endgame. I told him that if he could make the first movie work, the second movie would be fucking incredible."

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Evangeline Lilly, and Josh Brolin. The movie is set to hit theaters on April 26.
