It's been known for a while now that Doctor Strange will show up in "Thor: Ragnarok" and "Avengers: Infinity War," where he'll share the silver screen with other Marvel favorites. Echoing his continued excitement about "Avengers: Infinity War" in an interview with ComicBook.com, Derrickson took the opportunity to express whom he would like to see Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange share the screen with.

"Oh, gosh. When I've been asked this in the past, honestly when I think about it I always think about ... I'll just be frank: I always think about Rocket and Doctor Strange encountering each other."

There you have it. The smarmy Rocket Raccoon, from "Guardians of the Galaxy," is the ideal choice of Derrickson. It may seem like an odd choice, but Derrickson further explains why he feels this dream team is a must, "They're both sort of arrogant and verbose, always-in-the-right kind of guys and I think they would drive each other crazy in the best way."

Could this already be in the works? "Avengers: Infinity War" has begun principal photography this week with Rocket Raccoon set to appear -- maybe it is not too late to make this happen...
