Benedict Wong appeared as the powerful sorcerer Wong in Doctor Strange, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Even so, while it is certainly more than likely, there has yet to be any official confirmation he will reprise his role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Wong spoke with the Deseret News while in Salt Lake City for the FanX Salt Lake City Comic Convention. When asked if he would be appearing in the upcoming Doctor Strange follow-up, Wong seemed confident, if a bit unsure about his return.
"Yeah, I think so. I hope so. As far as I know," Wong said. "I tend to find out with everyone else. I think I’m probably the last one to know. When I get the call, you know, I’m there."
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is being called the first "scary film Marvel Studios has done and will be part of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
