A new anime-style opening for 2016's Doctor Strange may just be one of the coolest fan-made videos using footage from the film.
The video, which comes from user Diego Emilio Aguilar García, on YouTube takes clips from the film and sets them to a fitting track from Japanese rock band Kana-Boon.
The character's first on-screen appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe occured in Doctor Strange, which was followed by a brief cameo in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok. The Sorcerer Supreme then returned in full force in Infinity War, where he played a big role in the fight against Thanos and possibly in setting up the events of Avengers 4. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently confirmed Doctor Strange 2 would happen, with a recent rumor indicating filming would start in early 2019.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers 4 stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Evangeline Lilly, and Josh Brolin. The film is set to hit theaters on May 3, 2019. Peyton Reed’s Ant-Man and the Wasp is in theaters now.
