The stars of Hawkeye may reload their quivers for an appearance in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness. As Sam Raimi's Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness undergoes extensive reshoots, a report from the film's production team seems to confirm that Benedict Cumberbatch will be joined by some strange companions from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of the film's propmakers posted that he was commissioned to model and fletch multiple different arrows for the movie, to be used as both regular props and for stunts. Additionally, a call-sheet for the film revealed that extras were cast in the roles of "Novice Archer" and "Archer." Paired together, this information points to appearances from Hawkeye's dual leads Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) in the Doctor Strange sequel.RELATED: Marvel's Kevin Feige on 'Mind-Blowing' Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange 2 Connection

Though the story for Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness remains a tightly guarded secret, Marvel Studios revealed that Cumberbatch's Strange will be joined by multiple other heroes for his next film. Along with Scarlet Witch actor Elizabeth Olsen and Wong actor Benedict Wong, newcomer Xochitl Gomez will appear as America Chavez.

In the comics, Chavez has the ability to travel between universes by creating star-shaped portals. Art by Michael Cho gifted to the Doctor Strange 2 production team shows the film's cast jumping through one of these portals, seemingly confirming that this element of the comics will be consistent on screen. Should Steinfeld's Kate Bishop appear in the film, it could lead to the long-rumored appearance of the Young Avengers.

While it remains to be seen if Renner and Steinfeld will be featured in The Multiverse of Madness, their influence is confirmed to factor into another future MCU production. On Disney+ day, Marvel Studios announced that actor Alaqua Cox's character Echo is currently being developed for a solo series. Marvel Studios President/Marvel Chief Creative Office Kevin Feige confirmed that Echo will spin directly out of Hawkeye, picking up in the wake of Clint and Kate's adventure.

Before he receives his own guest stars in Doctor Strange 2, the Sorcerer Supreme will team up with Tom Holland's Peter Parker for Spider-Man: No Way Home. In that film, Doctor Strange makes a deal with Spider-Man to help the world forget Peter's secret identity. However, when Peter tries to get Strange to adjust the spell on the fly, it opens up a portal to the worlds of Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy and Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man films. Over the course of the movie, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man's relationship will become strained as the two disagree on the best way to clean up their multiversal mess.

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness is set to play out in theatres on May 6, 2022.
