The remainder of Elizabeth Olsen's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness scenes are officially complete.

"Not 'Strange' Anymore !! Wrapped again," wrote hairstylist Karen Bartek on Instagram. Bartek, who previously collaborated with Olsen on WandaVision, also shared a photo of the two of them and make-up artist Tricia Sawyer celebrating the end of reshoots with some dramatic arm poses. The photo also shows Olsen sporting shoulder-length, blonde hair, a different look compared to how she appeared in WandaVision's season finale and previous Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

Olsen has stated that WandaVision's events will tie into Multiverse of Madness and that the Doctor Strange sequel "wouldn't make sense" without knowledge of the former. The Disney+ show ended with Wanda, now officially the Scarlet Witch, fleeing S.W.O.R.D. and the FBI over her role in trapping the people of Westview, NJ within her magical sitcom world, taking with her the Darkhold book owned by Agatha Harkness. A post-credit scene showed Wanda studying the book in a remote location and hearing the voices of her twin sons, who were erased from reality alongside Vision when the spell ended. As its title implies, the film will delve more into the multiverse's existence -- a plot device introduced to the MCU through Loki -- and will also see Wanda, Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Wong (Benedict Wong) team with a new character in America Chavez, played by Xochitl Gomez.

Doctor Strange's connection to the multiverse was recently teased in Spider-Man: No Way Home's official trailer. The trailer saw him, against Wong's warning, try to cast a spell that would make the world forget Peter Parker is Spider-Man, but Peter's fears cause the spell to go wrong, resulting in dimensional collapses and the arrival of alternate universe villains like Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus. The fourth episode of Marvel's multiverse-centric show What If...? also revealed a world where Strange, who lost Christine Palmer in this timeline, corrupts himself by consuming numerous magical creatures for centuries in an attempt to rewrite her death, even becoming aware of The Watcher's presence. However, after his actions result in their universe's destruction, Strange tries to appeal to The Watcher, only to be rebuffed and lose everything.

Directed by Sam Raimi, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit theaters on March 25, 2022.
