Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness star Elizabeth Olsen revealed she wants the chance to say Scarlet Witch's most iconic line from the comics in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Olsen discussed the possibility of her delivering Wanda Maximoff's famous words "No more mutants," in a recent interview with HeyUGuys. "I would love to be able to say ["No more mutants"] in some capacity, to make it work for the MCU," she said. Olsen added that she never knows what Marvel Studios is doing next, and insisted that the decision to have Wanda spout her infamous words at some point in the future "is not in anyone's control but [Marvel Studios President] Kevin Feige."

Scarlet Witch uttered the phrase "No more mutants" during the 2005 House of M limited series, which was set in an alternate reality of Wanda's making. Heartbroken after her father Magneto killed her brother Quicksilver, Wanda blamed the tragedy on Magneto's obsession with mutant supremacy. Looking to punish him and end the endless cycle of violence, she instantly reduces the global population of mutants from millions to only a few hundred after uttering the now-iconic phrase.

Marvel Studios hasn't yet integrated the concept of mutants from the X-Men franchise into the official MCU canon but that could change soon. Patrick Stewart, who played Professor Charles Xavier in Fox's X-Men movies, will appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, stoking rumors of Professor X's return. Although Stewart is still not officially confirmed to reprise his X-Men role, new footage from the upcoming sequel includes what appears to be Xavier's yellow hover chair from the 90s X-Men comics and animated series.

Professor X will seemingly head up The Illuminati, a mysterious council that holds Benedict Cumberbatch's Master of the Mystic Arts captive. The Illuminati also apparently counts Doctor Strange supporting character-turned-villain Karl Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) among its ranks. Who occupies the remaining seats on the council is not currently known, although in the comics, members included Black Panther, Iron Man and Strange himself.

Aside from Xavier, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness promises plenty of other major MCU cameos. Of these, one of the biggest is the live-action debut of What If...?'s Captain Carter. While Peggy Carter's superpowered variant is now confirmed to appear, it's still unclear whether actor Hayley Atwell will return to play the role.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness opens in theaters on May 6.
