With Sam Raimi officially signed on to take over from Scott Derrickson to direct Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, fan artist BossLogic has put their own spin on the spooky sequel with a fan poster including a major Avengers villain and the surprise appearance of Deadpool.Although the plot of the upcoming movie is shrouded in mystery, the Doctor Strange sequel is confirmed to bring Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch into the fold, is rumored to include Brother Voodoo as another Sorcerer Supreme, and will hopefully explore the potential of the Marvel Multiverse thanks to its cryptic title. Now, BossLogic adds a few more familiar faces to the potential mix.RELATED: Everything We Know About Doctor Strange 2 So FarBossLogic showed off the jam-packed poster for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness via his social media accounts. Leaning on the idea of the movie being the MCU's first horror entry, we see Doctor Stephen Strange being possessed by Brother Voodoo and the return of the terrifying zombified Iron Man from Spider-Man: Far From Home. It also includes as the ghost of Vision and Tilda Swinton's Ancient One, and there's a tease of Deadpool and Shuma-Gorath.

Suma-Gorath was first introduced as an enemy of Strange in 1972's Marvel Premiere #5 and has caused some serious trouble for the Avengers over the years. Being revealed as one of the four undying extra-dimensional "multi-angled ones" makes Suma-Gorath a major presence in the Multiverse and a creature that's more powerful than the likes of Mephisto. Although Suma-Gorath hasn't been linked to Multiverse of Madness yet, it's inclusion in BossLogic's poster throws up some interesting ideas.

As for Deadpool, a cameo from Ryan Reynolds' Merc with a Mouth could neatly bring Fox's X-Men properties into the MCU with his signature style of breaking the fourth wall. Fans have been wondering how characters like the X-Men and Fantastic Four will join the franchise after Disney's acquisition of the studio, while something like Multiverse of Madness seems like the perfect way to do it.

Raimi can go literally anywhere when it comes to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. As well Raimi-favorite Bruce Campbell already lobbying for a villainous role, the movie could finally create the crossover of all crossovers and make Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy canon in the MCU. It's unclear what ideas Raimi will take from the Derrickson days, but as BossLogic's poster proves, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a movie with limitless creative potential.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen. The film is currently scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 5, 2021.
