Doctor Doom Shortlist Reportedly Narrowed to Four, Appropriately Enough

Director Josh Trank finalized his Fantastic Four actors last month, but now he's trying to nail down the Fox reboot's primary villain: a certain Doctor Doom.

According to TheWrap, the studio is eyeing Sam Riley (Control, Maleficent), Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables, Jupiter Ascending), Toby Kebbell (The Counselor, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) and Domhnall Gleeson (Dredd, Unbroken) for the role of the Fantastic Four's arch-nemesis. Many of these names were brought up earlier in the casting process, along with Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire), whom The Hollywood Reporter's Borys Kit seems to suggest is still a contender.

Whoever gets the part will face off against Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch, Kate Mara as Invisible Woman and Jamie Bell as The Thing. The film is scheduled for release on June 19, 2015.
