Amid the avalanche of merchandise previewed over the weekend at Toy Fair in New York City, at least one significant spoiler may have slipped through about Paul Feig's "Ghostbusters" reboot.

On Friday, Funko offered a first look at its upcoming Pop! line for the Sony Pictures film, featuring vinyl figures of the for lead characters -- Melissa McCarthy's Abby Yates, Kristen Wiig's Erin Gilbert, Kate McKinnon's Jillian Holtzmann and Leslie Jones' Patty Tolan -- plus Chris Hemsworth's receptionist Kevin, an angry-looking spirit, and an adorable little ghost reminiscent of the iconic "Ghostbusters."

However, it turns out that pint-sized phantom may not be as sweet as he looks: The figure is identified in the Funko catalog as "Rowan's Ghost"; Rowan just happens to be the villainous role reportedly played by Neil Casey of "Other Space" fame. Of course, whether "Rowan's Ghost" turns out to be the actual antagonist or merely a spirit under his control may remain to be seen. (And that angry-looking spirit? Her name's Gertrude Eldridge.)

A photo from Toy Fair of a slightly more menacing Mattel build-a-figure figure (here looking a bit more like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man) would seem to add fuel to that spectral fire.

"Ghostbusters" opens July 15.
