The warlock is one of Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition's strangest spellcasting classes. A pact with an otherworldly being gives them access to spellcasting and unique Eldritch Invocations. Warlocks are unique in that they are fully focused on casting, but have even fewer spell slots than half-casters like paladins and rangers.
With adequate short rests, a D&D 5e warlock can cast every bit as much as more conventional classes. However, that can't be guaranteed on many adventuring days. As such, many warlocks turn to D&D 5e's magic items to supplement their spellcasting. Several weapons, artifacts, and tools can make any warlock a lethal adventurer.

20 A Cloak Of Invisibility Can Be Used In-Combat And Out

The Cloak of Invisibility is among D&D 5e's legendary magic items. This magic cloak grants the wearer a total of two hours of complete invisibility every single day. Unlike spells that turn a character invisible, attacking an enemy or forcing a saving throw does not end this effect.
This makes the Cloak of Invisibility an ideal magic item for warlocks in D&D 5e. It means they can dedicate their Pact Magic slots to something other than invisibility. There are countless out-of-combat, utility, and protection-based reasons to use the Cloak of Invisibility. Even at its most basic, however, it can grant a D&D 5e warlock advantage on every Eldritch Blast they fire in combat.

Warlocks are more dependent on a single ability score than many other classes. Warlocks use Charisma for their spellcasting, class features, and many skills. The Hexblade patron goes one step further by using Charisma for weapon attacks. The Tome of Leadership and Influence is ideal for warlocks because it increases their most vital ability score.
If a D&D warlock spends 48 hours over six days reading from a Tome of Leadership and Influence, their Charisma increases by 2. Even better, they raise their maximum Charisma score — usually 20 — by 2. 18 Boots Of Levitation Give Easy Flight

Most D&D 5e warlocks want to stay as far away from enemies as possible. Outside of specific builds, they are not melee characters. It can be hard to avoid enemies on the ground of more dynamic battlefields, particularly if the party gets ambushed or surrounded. The Boots of Levitation are a D&D 5e magic item that can let a warlock seek refuge in a different direction.
The Boots of Levitation let the attuned character cast Levitate on themselves. This is less flexible than flight, as it only allows movement directly up. Nonetheless, it's a valuable early-game warlock magic item for evading melee foes. D&D 5e warlocks can also use it to fly over cover and blast enemies with impunity.
17 Elven Chain Provides Much-Needed Protection

Most D&D 5e warlocks don't get armor proficiencies greater than light armor. This makes them easier to hit than most other classes. This is where Elven Chain comes in. This means any warlock can wear Elven Chain and gain its benefits. They don't have to be a Hexblade or take the Moderately Armored feat. A Wand of Magic Detection magic item gives up to three casts of Detect Magic per day. For most spellcasters, Detect Magic is cheap, only costing a first-level spell slot. However, D&D warlocks have to take an Eldritch Invocation to cast it at will. The Wand of Magic Detection is a perfect magic item for D&D 5e warlocks who are their party's only caster, freeing up their Invocations for more exciting options.
14 A Broom Of Flying Suits Ranged Warlocks

The Broom of Flying is a classic spellcaster magic item that allows characters to fly through the air. Flight is an invaluable tool in D&D combat. It stops many ground-based enemies from targeting somebody with attacks. It also opens up new, three-dimensional tactics and lets a character engage almost any enemy anywhere on the battlefield.
A creative player can get plenty of use from a Broom of Flying. Warlocks in D&D 5e get limited spell slots, so not having to spend one casting Fly or Feather Fall is a huge plus. The Broom of Flying is an ideal warlock magic item if a player wants to Eldritch Blast against melee foes with near-impunity.

The Rod of Absorption's wielder can convert charges from absorbing spells into their own spell slots. This is perfect for a warlock magic item in D&D 5e. Warlocks fight differently from most spellcasters. Their Pact Magic gives them fewer spells at any one time, and most of their Invocations are best outside of combat. Instead, warlocks rely on cantrips for damage. In particular, the Eldritch Blast cantrip, coupled with the Agonizing Blast invocation, is more lethal than any other cantrip in the game.
The Illusionist's Bracers allow a spellcaster to use a cantrip twice per turn. After casting a cantrip, they can repeat it as a bonus action. While this is invaluable for many spellcasters, it's one of the best warlock magic items in D&D 5e due to Eldritch Blast's high damage. It effectively lets a warlock make up to eight full-strength attacks every turn.

A Barrier Tattoo can be the answer to a D&D warlock's problems. For an attunement slot, it gives D&D characters a high armor class at all times. The rarest can give a warlock 18 Armor Class for no investment in equipment or ability scores. This lets a warlock have the equivalent of plate mail while saving on spell slots of Eldritch Invocations for spells like Mage Armor.
10 Eyes Of Charming Suit A Charisma Character

Charisma is used for D&D's social skills, such as Persuasion and Deception. As a result, warlocks tend to be one of the classes players look to in social interactions. Due to their Charisma spellcasting, they often have the highest bonuses to Charisma-based skills. With Eyes of Charming, the warlock can cast the Charm Person spell three times a day without using a spell slot.
When someone is charmed, they regard the charmer as a good friend, and it is easier to persuade them. The Eyes of Charming are an ideal magic item for D&D 5e warlocks who want to talk their way out of situations rather than blasting. It's not always the best way, but it does broaden a warlock's options in a tight situation.

One of its most notable is the vast array of spells it gives a character access to. They can cast utility or defensive spells like Knock at no cost or spend charges for more game-changing choices like Fireball or Plane Shift.
The Staff of the Magi is one of the best magic items for warlocks in D&D 5e for complementing their spellcasting. It lets them use their Pact Magic on unique spells while they use the staff for more mundane magic. It also provides a spell attack bonus to make Eldritch Blast more lethal. Any spellcaster benefits hugely from a Staff of Power, but its additional spellcasting makes it an especially good D&D 5e warlock magic item.

A Hat of Disguise allows the wearer to cast Disguise Self at will without using a spell slot. This gives warlocks an extra free spell and matches well with their D&D 5e playstyle. More often than not, a disguised character will have to make a Deception check to sell the disguise they're using.
Once again, the warlock's high Charisma makes them well-suited to this task. Warlocks may or may not have great Dexterity. Being able to double down on disguises lets them function as the party infiltrator by walking into a secure location hidden in plain sight. The Eldritch Invocation Mask of Many Faces can do the same thing, but a Hat of Disguise lets warlocks take a different Invocation instead.

The Robe of the Archmagi is only available to a select few D&D 5e classes. The warlock is one of the best poised to take advantage of its benefits. The Robe of the Archmagi provides two powerful defensive bonuses. It gives a character an Armor Class of 15 plus their Dexterity bonus. It also gives them advantage on saving throws against magical effects.
However, its most notable benefit is to spellcasting. It gives a +2 bonus to spell attack rolls and to a character's spell saving throw DC. This is a huge boon in itself. However, it can also stack with other bonuses from D&D warlock magic items. The Robe of the Archmagi can give a D&D 5e warlock unmatched magical power.
6 A Helm Of Teleportation Fills A Vital Niche

Warlocks aren't just combat spellcasters in D&D 5e. Their spell list contains many utility options, with their Eldritch Invocations adding even more possibilities. However, warlocks lack many high-level utility spells, particularly as their Mystic Arcanum spells can only be cast once per day. The Helm of Teleportation fills a valuable utility niche that warlocks lack.
With the Helm of Teleportation magic item, a D&D warlock can cast the Teleport spell up to three times a day. This lets them transport their party across the world instantly, something warlocks otherwise struggle with. It's less valuable if the party has other high-level arcane casters, but can still save on expensive spell slots.

The Ring of Spell Turning is a beneficial magic item for D&D 5e warlocks, as it lets them use their foe's magic against them. While wearing the ring, the wearer has an advantage on saving throws against any spell that targets only them.
If the wearer rolls a 20 on the saving throw and the spell is lower than seventh-level, it is reflected at the original caster. This causes them to be hit by the magic instead. This magic item provides D&D 5e warlocks with an ace in the hole if they fight against a strong caster. Due to their few spell slots, a Ring of Spell Turning is an even better warlock magic item than it is for other D&D spellcasters.
4 A Pearl Of Power Mitigates A Warlock's Weakness

The Pearl of Power is one of the best warlock magic items in all of D&D 5e. Once per day, the warlock can use the Pearl to regain a spell slot up to the third level. An extra spell slot is a boon for any spellcaster. It's a godsend for warlocks, who can struggle with spell slots across an adventuring day.
The Pear of Power has an unusual rules interaction with warlocks. The spell slot it restores isn't automatically leveled up like a warlock's regular Pact Magic slots. Even at higher levels, however, a third-level spell slot isn't something to pass up, particularly for lower-level warlock spells in D&D 5e that don't upcast well.
3 An Amulet Of Health Keeps Characters Alive

Constitution is important for all characters. However, spellcasters particularly need it. As well as hit points, Constitution affects Concentration checks. Warlocks may have even more use for it than other spellcasters. One D&D 5e warlock patron, the Hexblade, encourages characters to use weapons and melee combat.
