Disneyland To Offer 'Sneak Peek' of Marvel-based "Big Hero 6"

Although Walt Disney Animation's "Big Hero 6" doesn't arrive in theaters until Nov. 7, Disneyland guests will be able to get an exclusive preview of the film -- in "4D," no less.

The Disney Parks Blog announced that, for a limited time beginning Friday, Sept. 26, a "Big Hero 6" Sneak Peek will be presented in 3D with "special in-theater effects" at the Magic Eye Theater in Tomorrowland. The facility hosted a similar preview of Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" ahead of the film's Aug. 1 premiere.

Disneyland has also promoted Marvel Studios releases with attractions like  "Captain America: The Living Legend and Symbol of Courage," "Thor: Treasures of Asgard" and "Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries," all located inside Innoventions at Tomorrowland.

"Big Hero 6" is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius - thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion - a robot named Baymax - and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery.

Directed by Don Hall ("Winnie the Pooh") and Chris Williams ("Bolt"), "Big Hero 6" opens in theaters in 3D on Nov. 7.
