In an all-new animated promotional video, Loki actor Tom Hiddleston peels back the curtain on how he became Marvel's most mischievous villain and what playing the character means to him.

The video is the latest in Disney's Untold series, where various actors discuss their connections to the characters they play. Here, Hiddleston reveals everything from how having siblings prepared him to become the God of Mischief to how the character's lack of responsibility makes Loki the perfect contrast to his brother Thor. Hiddleston even goes on to describe a fitness contest with Thor actor Chris Hemsworth to decide who got to play the God of Thunder, as well as the life-changing casting call he later received from Marvel Studios. Moreover, the video is animated in a classic Disney style, adding a colorful, illustrative flair to Hiddleston's stories.

Hiddleston's Loki made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in 2011's Thor before appearing as the main villain in The Avengers a year later. The God of Mischief has since gone on to pop up in Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Hiddleston also recently voiced Loki in the animated What If...? anthology series in addition to starring in his own titular Dinsey+ original. The first six-episode season of Loki concluded this past summer, and a second season is currently in production, though may not air for some time.
