According to the official Disney announcement, the manufacturing defect "could potentially pose a choking hazard to children under 3." The statement went on to express, "nothing is more important to us than the safety of our guests" before urging parents to take appropriate action.

The toys were sold from several outlets, including Amazon. The defective toys possess one of four tracking numbers that can be found with the attached label: FAC-024868-18338, FAC-024868-19032, FAC-024868-19060 and FAC-024868-1909.
