The shocking ending of Avengers: Infinity War left fans eagerly anticipating the release of its sequel, Avengers: Endgame. After all, when Thanos snapped his Infinity Gauntlet-covered fingers in the cliffhanger, half of all life in the universe was wiped from existence. That included many beloved heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, leaving audiences to wonder how those who remained would fight back.

Of course, with so much secrecy surrounding the Marvel Studios film, there is actually very little we know about it. Even the recently released teaser trailer for Avengers: Endgame gave few detials. But leave it to Disney to promise an exciting finale, the likes of which we have never seen before.

In a German press release that popped up on Imgur, Disney teased Endgame will feature a spectacular conclusion to threads that have been unfolding ever since Tony Stark first became the Armored Avenger a decade ago, in 2008's Iron Man.

The full, translated message from the press release reads as follows:

Dear colleagues, It is the most expected trailer of the year. What started with Iron Man in 2008, is going to end with a bombastic bang. After lots of adventures and the most dramatic final in the recent movie history of Avengers: Infinity War, all threads of the Marvel Cinematic Universe converge to the ultimate, all-changing showdown.

Before Avengers: Endgame concludes 10-plus years of Marvel Studios movies, fans still have the Brie Larson-starring Captain Marvel to look forward to, a flashback film set in the 1990s that will introduce one of the MCU most powerful characters, who will be key in the fight against Thanos in Endgame.

While the Avengers are already capable of waging epic battles, the arrival of Captain Marvel is bound to make this finale even more explosive -- and infinitely more spectacular.
