Disney Sets Dates For 'Zootopia,' 'Moana'

Coming off a $56.2 million opening weekend for Big Hero 6, Disney Animation Studios has announced release dates for two upcoming films.

Zootopia, the buddy action comedy from Tangled director Byron Howard and All of Us screenwriter Jared Bush, will open March 4, 2016. The film follows a fast-talking fox who goes on the run after he's framed for a crime, with Zootopia's top cop -- a self-righteous rabbit -- hot on his tail. However, they're forced to team up when they both become the targets of a conspiracy.It will be followed Nov. 23, 2016, by Moana, the comedy-adventure from directors Ron Clements and John Musker (Aladdin, The Little Mermaid) about a born navigator who sets sail in the ancient South Pacific for a fabled island, accompanied by the demigod Maui.(via Deadline)
