Disney+ has a plethora of Marvel cartoons, both new and old, which similarly focus on both mainstream heroes and more obscure ones. An example of both latter categories is the 1979-1980 Spider-Woman cartoon, which was to this day the biggest non-comic book appearance of Jessica Drew, the original woman to take on that mantle.

Disney+ offers the entire 16-episode series, which also features a few appearances from the much more popular Spider-Man. One of these appearances was in the show's seventh episode, which is strangely mislabeled on one of the biggest streaming services. Despite being the only streaming service to offer Spider-Woman, Disney+ for some reason gets the title of one of the episodes egregiously incorrect.

Kingo Kongo

Spider-Woman

The seventh episode of Spider-Woman is titled "The Kongo Spider," and originally aired on Nov. 3, 1979. The title reflects a monstrous enemy fought within the episode itself, and the creature is even referred to as such throughout the episode. Despite that, the listing for the episode on Disney+ reads a little differently. Instead of "The Kongo Spider," Disney+ gives the episode the erroneous name of "The Kingo Spider."

There's no real reason or explanation for this rather obvious typo, especially when the correct name is show and said throughout the episode. There is the fact that the episode's story is a pastiche on King Kong, perhaps making the typo slip the mind of those typing up the episode listing. Even then, it's strange to see such an obvious error made on Disney+ of all platforms, and it so far has yet to be corrected.

Spider-People

The episode's cartoonish plot has Spider-Man and Spider-Woman facing off against the eponymous Kongo Spider in the African jungle. There, a director named C.B. (likely no relation to Marvel Comics' current editor-in-chief) is shooting a rather obvious King Kong ripoff featuring the spider, and hopes to also include the similarly arachnid superheroes. Unfortunately, this means kidnapping Spider-Man, who just happened to be in the neighborhood of the village.

Jessica Drew and the other employees of Justice magazine cover the movie's filming, leading Spider-Woman to rescue Spider-Man and eventually stop the Kongo Spider via telepathy. Thinking that his film is ruined, the director uses a robotic Kongo Spider to attack Paris and get more footage. This time, however, Spider-Man comes to the rescue, taking control of the eight-legged android and having the director arrested.

The victorious vigilante even offers to take Spider-Woman out on a date at a nearby French café, but she unfortunately declines. This would be Spider-Man's second and final appearance on the series, which only lasted for nine more episodes. Thankfully, this episode seems to be the only one misspelled on Disney+.
